I found this song years ago when I was at my lowest. To this day I think it have me the strength to be here toady. Same as most comments, I can't help but shed a tear....
I love the shots to the audience; the different expressions of wonder at what they’re witnessing. There’s nothing like live music performance that evokes this feeling.
Always liked the song but this is the best version ever captured that I've seen and that includes the original recording. Adam playing the harmonica and Charlie's big grin in the background, the sax, the photography. I watch this every day just to feel happy
While I respect your opinion, I have to strongly disagree. I feel like that extended slow intro doesn’t work well for this song. It has to come barreling in full force. I think the best live version of this song is the KEXP one. The way he just rips into that guitar solo brings a tear to my eye. But regardless the song is still beautiful
I agree. The other guy in the comment section is right about the KEXP being an equal, but only because of the solo. The 2 are very different versions though and hard to compare. This is my favorite version, acoustic, beautiful intro and amazing strumming and melody on the outro . The KEXP version is equally amazing, electric and has that sick solo at the end. This is the best acoustic version. KEXP is the best electric version 🙏🙌👏
@@Red_Vega I've watched both again side by side with a friend and I still think this is the better version as does my friend. I agree the KEXP version has the better guitar solo (one of Adam's finest in fact) but this is overall the best version and my opinion will not be swayed! Haha, we are all just lucky to be alive whilst this band are in the worldc
Without fail, this song always brings a tear to the eye, particularly when Adam begins with the harmonica through Jon’s bari sax solo. I love how music does that.
Me too. But I highly recommend the live version at Best Kept Secret festival ruclips.net/video/40PFilvXK30/видео.htmlsi=tdeTliKLIQdTxxdH and his live performance of this song at KEXP (ruclips.net/video/DE9ElyZjZDo/видео.htmlsi=GSFds9UYggJP-pPy) Search both. The guitar solo when he performs live is what makes the song. Leaves tears streaming down my face and transported to those summers of youth where you fell in love so deeply thinking it would last forever, and anything felt possible. ❤
Seeing them for the third time in June and I cannot put into words how good they are. Their live performances take you somewhere else for a couple of hours and you come away feeling more alive. The best band to exist ever for me.
Hearing that saxophone, you have had to have been there, although I wasn't THERE, but back at Radio City Music Hall in NYC, I remember him playing that saxophone how mesmerized I was! Just absolutely beautiful! Then you got your fun dancing drummer, your keyboards, those guitars, and, as they say, you don't miss the bass til it's not there, that deep, warm, bass! And, of course, singer-songwriter- master guitarist maestro, Adam! I love you guys! Stay healthy, I can't wait to see you all again, healthy and playing in concerts after all this COVID cabin fever.
Their show at Radio City Music Hall was legendary, I've listened to the full show recorded by nyctaper many times through. Wish I could have been there.
@@billofsale9878 Charlie Hall is the drummer and John Natchez is the sax player, and either Charlie has lots of friends in NYC, or it was his birthday, because he got a lot of applause from where I was sitting at the Central Park Concert!

I closed my eyes listening to this and he sure sounds like David gray and the drummer has same beat but it ends there they sure are good to listen to do

Dear God..This is Life Changing...💫
This is my favorite song of al time.
I always listen to Under The Pressure from the same concert and then this and then nothing can touch me for the rest of the day. Bliss
P
agree, one of the very best live concerts... Lowlands 2018, Netherlands
Try this, the same concert... An Ocean In Between The Waves , mmmmmmmm
Agreed, this concert is the best version of both live!
I cry…every single time I listen to TWOD. Thank You.
Piano & acoustic guitar together in a rock song is the perfect ingredients. Just beautiful
Gonna see them live for my first time ever next Thursday. If they play this song, find me in the crowd bawling my eyes out

My favorite live of this song. The emotions of this song flow to my core.
agree
I cannot express in words how much I love this one.

Yes you can see in bands faces and the crowd that they are cooking up something special , what a joy !
I think this is the best live version ever recorded. The saxo solo is just awesome.

Best Band Of the decade 2010's
Agree 100%
And in my opinion they're just getting started
Amen to that.
No doubt about that. Ffs let’s get back to the fun times. Saw them in Singapore. Blown away.
I don't even think anyone is a close second.
This is freaking audible oxygen, such a magic song, topped off by he harmonica and Sax,glorious to the ears, heart and soul
Amazing song. Amazing band. The harmonica and sax are pure magic
Thanks so much, Mustard! ❤
One of The best songs
My soul has been blessed with greatness !

Helene, I could not agree more with you. Charlie absolutely brings this song up 10 levels with that sax. The louder the better.

Every song these guys do is pure magic!
love this band. real writing. passion. emotion. musicianship. saw them at massey hall toronto. can't wait to see them again.
That lady and that man at 6:35 says it all
B-E-A-utiful!
Music for the Soul.
What an amazing song!

Foi a melhor descoberta musical que fiz nos últimos anos
I love this sound so energetic, so lucid and full of vitality, it is one of my favorite songs! never stop playing 🤟🏻🌃💫✨🎶💞🥂
Magical!
The Drugs are the best Band of the World.
❤ Bringing back the sax ❤
They remind me so much of Mike Scott & ' The Waterboys ' brilliant 🎧💖
Really love the live version of this song. So many midrange sounds!!
open your eyes.....see your audience, connect with them....
The sax part always makes me ball my eyes out
The guitar version is better. ruclips.net/video/DE9ElyZjZDo/видео.html
The singer sounds like Bob Martin on this song, sounds great, amazing video thank you Mustard for sharing this with all, Peace !
that drummer really enjoys what he's doing, awesome band!
Sehr gute Band mit tollen Songs
Admit it, who started listening to TWOD after seeing the funny grimaces of the drummer on the cover? The music is wonderful!!! ❤❤❤😂
The drummer has attitude and talent....a wining combination.
Amo esta banda
This is fantastic, I'm getting a strong Bob Segar vibe from this song
Could be, but they have quite a few!.... but, Baby Missiles does it for me😊
MAGICO!!
This song and live performance could stop the war in Ukraine.
That was sick.
Superb
in the zone
I closed my eyes listening to this and he sure sounds like David gray and the drummer has same beat but it ends there they sure are good to listen to do
The master A.G. :))
at 6:51 they wanted to end the song but then said...fuckit, lets keep rolling!! :)
Harmonica so bad ass, song feels Dylan esque
We need a world Rally Concert with the BS going on at the moment
Wow, a band x Avagadros No.
Softly killed his song
The drummer on this song is nowhere near looking like "Under the Pressure" here doesn't see himself in that musical trance.
Who's on the drums for the lowlands concert??
Charlie Hall is on the drums
That’s the passionate dancing drummer Charlie Hall!
5:30. Will you marry me?
Its a beautiful women!
WTF
I had to weirdly enough make it 70
