    Hi mate is their a way to hide the connectors on the argb strips when u plug them together. Do you see them in the case

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  6 месяцев назад

      @deanpartridge9545 that's one little thing I don't like, the cables connecting each of the strips can mostly be hidden apart from the one connecting the bottom strip to the side strip, there isn't anywhere to really hide it on the bottom right corner of the case to be honest, suppose it all comes down to how you position your case and how visible it will be, I don't find it an issue though as I have the Lian Li infinity fans, so your eyes are drawn towards the one of those I have on the bottom of the case.

      @BrisyTechBytes thought I would check iv just built my kid similar system went with sl v2 fans tho and reverse for intake. Was gonna go same cooler but ended up going nzxt kraken elite. 7800x3d strix b650e-e board and went with phanteks revolt 1000w platinum with phanteks cables with the metal combs looks really good. Built it the other night bk in box now ready for Christmas. Havnt got a gpu yet as seeing if 5080s come out before Christmas. Thinking of adding the argb light kid and the argb vertical mount same time. Only don't think you can tilt it in the nv5 case

      @deanpartridge9545 I actually think you can tilt that GPU bracket in the NV5, there is another video on YT of a guy doing a review of the RGB kit and I could swear he had the phanteks vertical bracket and the GPU was tilted, will try and find it and leave a link below

      @eaze7324 unfortunately I didn't experience anything like that, can only suggest checking all the cables are connected nice and tightly and maybe try hooking up the sata power cable to another connector coming from the PSU.

      @eaze7324 the only other thing I was going to suggest is swapping each of leds cables around where they plug in to the little hub thatvcones witg the kit, then that was you can rule out if its the actual LED strip around the PSU shroud that's faulty or the little hub itself...in saying that you could also plus the PSU shroud cable straight in to the case inbuilt controller to rule check that out too

      @@BrisyTechBytes Yeah did that already, put the case led into the kit hub and connected the kit hub only to my old pc's mobo and it synced but still flickers, so ruled the case hub factor out, turned out to be the LED itself and already made a warranty claim, bought a new one and will be sending this one back..

    Hi do you think a single data power cable is enough, I plan on using two ports from the single cable that’s split since my other Santa cables have drives on them. Thanks

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  2 месяца назад +1

      @Kilite so in my case I have 2 seperate cables attached to my power supply unit, each of these cables has 2 or 3 sata power connections on them in a daisy chained arrangement, one of these cables cables is hooked up to the 2 sata drives I have, the other cable I have all the RGB devices that require sata power hooked up to them, so that is the case inbuilt RGB controller, the hub that comes with this kit and I also have another hub controller for all the Lian Li Fans and RGB hooked up to this too.
      Not sure if that answers your question?

    • @Kilite
      @Kilite 2 месяца назад

      thanks, I ended up buying the kit to finish off my nv5 and daisy chained the two hubs together into one sata cable… but I don’t have all my fans connected to them, I split them into another hub with another sata power that’s shared with a few sata ssds…. Asked ChatGPT to do the math for me and if the two sata cables could manage my split configuration with the hard drive ssd and the triple argb hubs can manage and it said yes lol

      @user-yf6mo7tf9p how are you controlling the RGB, with the case inbuilt controller or do you have it hooked up to an RGB header on your motherboard?

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  4 месяца назад +1

      @user-yf6mo7tf9p just want to check how you are controlling the rgb, are you using the case inbuilt controller or do you have it hooked up to your motherboard to control the rgb?
      When I initially built mine I was trying to let another RGB controller that I have in my case for the fans also control the case lighting, wanted everything to be controlled under the same software but I ended up with practically the same issue as you so ended up disconnecting the case light from this other controller and hooking it up to the case inbuilt controller and it worked fine, means I control my case lighting through the buttons on top of the case.
      Can only assume that the other controller could only handle so many LED's per channel and why only part of the 3rd strip was lighting up.
      In my case I have a sata power cable connected to the inbuilt controller and the hub that came with the premium kit, the rgb light around the PSU shroud is still connected to the case controller, from the case controller there should be a spare 3 pin rgb cable that I attached to the premium kit hub, on the hub I have attached the edge lights, which are daisy chained, to on of the 3 ports and the motherboard edge panel attached to the second port on the hub.

    • @NerfMe-y7y

      @@BrisyTechBytes i have mine connected to the hub/signal wire that comes from the case. I also tried connecting both satas 1 to the built in controller in the case and the other to the hub.but it still didn't work i have to disconnect the bottom strip and connect it to the hub directly in order for it to work its an electrical hazard since it has prones coming out of the middle strip. im lost dont know what to do.

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  4 месяца назад

      @user-yf6mo7tf9p at least we know it's not an issue with the strip then if it works being plugged in directly to the hub. I have saw another user say they didn't use the hub at all, they just plugged the case edge lighting directly into the 3 pin RGB cable that was from the case controller. For me I can't do that as I am also using the motherboard edge panel.
      Just wondering if you have tried connecting the case edge lighting in to each of the ports on the hub...as in trying them one at a time in case one of the ports is playing up a bit?

  • @SuiSidee
    @SuiSidee 7 месяцев назад

    Which cable do you exactly connect to the input of the hub? Cause there is OUT1, OUT2 AND OUT3 and i don't know which should be connected.

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  7 месяцев назад

      So if you have the NV5 case you'll see a bunch of cables coming from the buttons and usb ports from the top of the case, there is an RGB controller built in up there and you should see a loose RGB cable from those cables that connects in to the input of the hub.
      After it's hooked up to the hub the 2 smaller buttons on top of the case will control your RGB, one will cycle through the effects, the other will change the colour. Just remember that the case in built controller and the hub you get with the RGB kits both require sata power.
      Hope this helps

      @@BrisyTechBytes so I can plug my rgb phanteks fans into this slot?

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  8 месяцев назад +1

      @globetraversinggoals7861 to control the RGB on fans only, yes that should be possible, only thing I can't comment on though is that each port on that hub might have a limit to the amount of LED's it can light up so depending on the amount of fans you have it might not work.

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  9 месяцев назад

      I jumped 2 pins on the 24 pin cable which allows the PSU to power up, lots of videos out there that shows you how to do that and can even buy little plugs from Amazon to put on the end of the cable if you don't have any spare wire or in my case a paper clip.
      Obviously take great care in doing this as there is a risk with it.

Can these things also be installed when the rest is already installed, or would that require removing all again (Mainboard, Top AIO, Fans to the right of the Mainboard etc.) to make it fit ? Regarding the installation, I don't see there being any problem in installing this kiy after the rest is installed, it helps being able to remove the side and front glass panel for access. I think you would need to install the side strip first so you can get it in by the fans and then the top and bottom strip and obviously the motherboard edge panel which wouldn't be installed till after the build anyway 👍
