A woman should not get married at 14. I must respectfully disagree with Sheik Imran on this issue. A girl may be physically able to bear children at 14, but emotionally, 14 year olds are still children. I don't think this is 'western brainwashing"..I'm a father, my daughter will not be ready for motherhood at 14, would anybody else be happy with their daughter/sister getting married at 14?. As for polygamy, even though Allah(swt) gave permission for up to 4 wives, the original 1st couple, Adam and Eve?. I prefer to follow Allah's(swt) original plan for mankind, where a man and a woman become one flesh.. Apart from my own personal views, Sheik Imran is a very knowledgeable man and his eschatological (long word!) reasoning brings life to the Hadeeth's. Generally speaking, I'd say Allah(swt) is using Sheik Imran to warn us that prophecy isn't just old stories. Allah has always warned people when His words are to be implemented.
My maternal grandmother married at 14 and paternal grandmother got married at 16 years and had 13 and 12 children respectively - I am happy that they got married young and did not practice family planning - that's why I am here today!

If that fruit wasn't eaten by Eve, or anybody else since, we would all be living in an unspoilt and pure world. Humans were originally designed to live forever on an expanded, Eden-like world were we not?. We were designed to stay with one partner forever..I realize Allah(swt) gave His permission to have up to 4 wives, if a man chooses to have more than 1 wife, that's his choice. What he says makes sense to me, its funny Shiekh Imran Hosein mentions going back to your local Sheikh to ask questions, I have done this myself, and EVERY Shiekh knows about Sheikh Imran Hosein, but for some reason they never talk about what he talks about. why to raise such an argument, i believe this is not the right time to discuss an issue that is not existing, plus Islam has denied and always fighting slavery. we need to discuss and worry about more important issues that Muslims are facing these days. Its simple they can get married but they dont have to have that type of relation with the husband. The sheikh has not explained it here
