Keep being independent as much as possible. You were right for basically telling the idol show to go to hell. From what i remember they keep almost all of the award money from your singing career on a 4 year contract. Also, the mainstream music industry is so corrupt & falsified it’s insane. You absolutely dodged a bullet. You totally have the ability to have a lucrative musical career without that fake industry.

There was a band called liliac who were on the idol show, & when they heard about the contract conditions they said adios. They are doing very very well for themselves now & have collaborated with many high end people in the rock industry while still being relatively independent.

I haven't watched American Idol in Years! I heard about Katy being so rude to her so I checked it out. I'm SO GLAD I DID I LOVE HER!! I haven't heard any great fun music like this in years! I ABSOLUTELY ADORE HER QUIRKINESS! I Hope she makes a whole album and I PRAY SHE DOESN'T CHANGE 😌🙌🏼💕💕🌻🌻🌻🌻

I just became aware of you and listened to this. (I didn't watch the show) You are very talented. I don't know how old your children are, but what I can say is that you owe to yourself to make the most of your lives(s). because you have a unique opportunity to live out multiple parts of yourself. This will then get passed down to your kids and enable them to take the steps to a happier life. Keep going!
