That's the "I grew up in a city and need to look tough enough to not get mugged on my way home every night" walk. People in small towns can afford to look hurried.
Jerry did his show "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." Bill Burr should have his own show where he walks down the streets of several cities badmouthing people behind their backs. Not even kidding, I would pay for this to happen.
"You're probably wondering why we didn't show you Times Square. Well some day you'll come to New York and you'll realize why." I went to NY last June and that really rings true lol
+GiantSandles Yup. If you want to experience the real NYC you stay as far away from that neon tourist trap as possible. Me and my buddies figured that out on day 1 :D

"This is something I wish I had more time to do: hanging out here in the park, taking in a little bit of nature and.... shit on people as the walk by" - Bill Burr NYC 2011 Priceless
Anger is the most incredible motivator of comedy. It's depression turned to a more manageable form than violence. Carlin, Pryor, Kinison..... These were angry men who found you could laugh, and make others laugh, at your pain. Listen to Burr for even a short time, and the anger underlining his humor is papable. He's great fun.
LMFAO @8:40 Bill: Look at this guy, he just killed his girlfriend. You think those sunglasses are hiding the fucking murderous look on your face? What are you gonna do with the body man? Hilarious!!!
Being in New York constantly, it feels so good to hear a comedian express my sentiments. Of course he does a waaayyyy better job than I ever could, but the observation is brilliant and poignant. Good job Bill!
am i the only one that heard "hey whats going on its bill burr" and expect to hear "and this is the monday morning podcast and I'MMMMMMM just checkin in on you"
LMAO! The shots of Bill just walking around babbling, insulting random people are fucking hilarious. Genius idea. Funny watching the one guy who slows down behind his buddy and comes around to compliment Bill at 7:43
What I love about NYC, especially Manhattan, is that while it is one of the most densely populated places on earth, you can still act like the craziest person there and no one will bat an eye. I live in an industrial place in Sweden, myself. Here, people will look at you and even stare, even when you're not doing anything. It's really peaceful here, kind of like the place you'd wanna move to after you retire, but man.... The people are stretched so damn thin. Whenever they meet someone they can't help but study or judge them. And not in the nice way...... Where I live it's lonely as hell, but you still feel like you're being watched all the damn time. In NYC you're never alone, but because there's always so much happening, you feel like you're alone. It's like you're hiding in plane sight. I mean just look at Bill, he's walking around like he's talking to himself, but barely anyone is noticing him.
Bill Burr i wanna thank you my dude. I listen to you every morning and you just get my day started on a positive note man. Always got me laughin. Salute
Basically the average Massachusetts street kids personality. So observing and can make fun of anything and make it sound funny because it's true. The cockiness, confident face and walk and amazing comic banter is top notch, just go to Boston and observe in any project lol the best free comedy you can get. Nowhere is better then New York and Boston on sarcastic humor ✌🏽❤️
Bill Burr, with a wire, talking shit about people, walking around like Robert Stack. This needs to become a continual thing. Bill is golden at improv. Monday Morning Podcast!
Times Square would be one of the last places I'd wanna go too, and I've never set foot in nyc. Bill Burr is such a relaxed, funny guy. Need more comedians like him. Got recognized a few times on the street. She thought he was Morgan Spurlock. lol
+GearsDemon through out your computer and do something creative instead! learn an instrument, start skating, surfing, painting, anything but sitting there doing nothing.

+theman211294 lol that's not always the case., i live in nyc and barely go out most days from my apartment. Of course that's totally my decision but I'm not a very social or outgoing person and I know I'm missing out a lot.

I thank you for uploading this, this helps to go through a morning filled with hardships. Taking a walk with bill. And gentrification is a biiitch, just imagine if he was walking us through eighties/nineties NYC.
lol 16:13 When you've lost your ass off at the horse races, that's what they give you, a shirt like that... I thought I was good at people watching commentaries, but I think he's got me beat! Lol You're a classic BB! Making history homie!
I'm 49 now, and I moved into that building behind you, across from Cafe Wa, in 1992, spent many years hitting Ben's and Mamoun's. That light blue entrance is still there. Fun vid, Bill. Good memories of that entire area. Edit: Are you fucking kidding me this Generation Records shit!? I bought my first Rush bootleg there. Great great store. I feel very old when I go to the Village these days too. Were you just following me around in 1995???? 🤣😂🤣😂
its weird how older people say theyre getting old when memory alludes them. Memory alludes people of all ages. dont have to be old to forget the name of a specific street
Bill has the most relaxed walk, of any human, ever
It's called being hot and tired 😂
With being the most volatile person of all time haha

Maybe if they didn't end up just censoring everything in the first place.
he should.. but i mean theres so many vids by now of him traveling.. basically just search on youtube..
LeBron James has one...

How have I only discovered this now in 2023? Bill talking shit about passers by had me pissing myself laughing 😆
"It always struck me as odd that she knew where richard gere lived". Dude, this is not comedy, this is art.
"Brought a whole piano here. A whole fuckin piano." LOL best line.
Wish Bill still did these. They are fantastic.
