I just had another thought after posting this video. I am pretty sure there was also a chrome exhaust on the CB350 H'ness in India (which was the first of these 350s rolled out by Honda).
Yes you are correct and i have hness too bought this year... will modify it as a caferacer soon. nice video tho.
@@jdintellectual5230 WOW the CB350 H'ness and the GB350 would look great as cafe racers. Thanks for your comment. :>)
Chrome exhaust looks great on Aussie GB350. Mine is blueing up nicely at the motor.
Yeh ... It's exactly how I think a classic looking exhaust should look :>)
I wonder whether the black one can be chromed and how much would it cost?
Definitely worth investigating. :>)
I read a Post from an English guy, who said that the chromed exhaust can be had in the UK, for a cost of about £380 ... iirc.
That model C is the one that they should have released in Europe; at the very least, give us a decent front mudguard.
That's fantastic to hear about the chrome pipe being available in the UK. I'll let those who asked me the question know about that. And yes I'm surprised they haven't released the C model in Europe given it looks so similar to many of the British bikes of the 60s. Maybe they'll wait 12 months like they did in Australia and do that then. The GB350R variant also has a bigger front and rear mudguard than the S.
Might be cheaper to get the black one. Chromed.
@@Apollo949 Good point :>)
Yea, when mine arrives in Sweden, I will deffo extend the front mudguard.
@@svenskdod Bigger mudguards was definitetly something they had right on the classic bikes of the past. :>)
The h'ness ver and GB ver do share the same exhaust (I've tried and it works) so it might be possible to buy it from Japan or india either the second hand or brand new .
Also swap on the modified exhaust is not a bad choice for sure
Thanks. If that is possible it means they would come with the same Cat sensor so there would be no issues in doing that. I've been told in the comments Honda is making the chrome pipe available in the UK as an accessory which is great for those who want choice. :>)
the latest models will be made Euro5(plus) where a Cat sensor is reporting to the ECU, changing the exhaust to anything that is not stock may trigger an Engine warning light & also may put the bike into limp mode only on Euro5+ ( 2025) models, previous models that were only Euro 5 like in Japan would be possible as the exhaust sensor is not constantly checking the Cat for efficiency.
I understand there may be work arounds coming for lots of Euro5+ bikes where a fake dud cat sensor is installed.
WOW you know your stuff. That's good information. Someone just told me in the comments that Honda are making a chrome exhaust available as an accessory, so I am guessing that would probably avoid the problem you are talking about. But the aftermarket would have to find a work-around like the one you suggest.
Delighted in Japan made in India 😂😂😂
:>)
It seems there’s many confusion about the name after the rise in popularity and release of the GB350S in Europe so let me clarify it as best as I can.
1. CB350 H’ness (India) is named as GB350 in Japan & Australia
2. CB350RS (India) is named as GB350S in Japan & Europe
3. CB350 (India) is named GB350C in Japan
Have a nice day & happy riding!!🎉
Thank you ... that's a great summary that really simplifies it and makes it clear.
Lucky Japan gets all three models.
I'm pretty sure the GB350S variant is meant to be the more sporty version ... the GB350C the more classic version ... and the GB350 the more standard version. :>)
