My first animation was before more then 15 years .. and it was all about a missile launch and get hit by an anti missile system .. the work all aside and rendering all that took nearly the whole day .. poor Pc's lol If i only had someone like you to help with videos or tutorials .. or even the objects .. Now Seeing this bring a lot of memories . Many thanks !!!
Ahhh thanks samanoske akachi!! It's great how technology is progressing to enable us to get amazing results, better even than movie studios of 10 years ago!
Wow! Another great lesson, Leo. That little coding trick for the rotation driver is too cool...reminds me of Houdini. That is so helpful. I'll share a link when I am done with the scene. Thanks, again! Cheers!
man you are a hidden gem why didnt I find you earlier 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. Lots of Love man Keep makin such videossssssss pleaseeee Thank You Sooo Soooo Much
Check that 'denoise' is on in your render settings. You can rotate the HDRI in the world properties on the right. Toggle the arrow next to colour, and the arrow next to Vector mapping, then change the Z rotation.
Haha!!! Yes - you absolutely did!! I had to retake a couple of sections because of the meowing, but that one slipped through!! Glad you enjoyed the video!! Thanks for the comment - it made me laugh!!
This was absolutely incredible! You always post exactly what I need but I learned way too many things with this video! Ima kiss you on the lips one day Leo!
Subbed immediately. Very good tutorials. I'm curious though, is there an tutorial on how you added yourself in the shot like in the intro? I'm guessing green screen because of the fingers clipping. But the reflections look amazing. Would pay for a tutorial.
Leo, thank you so much for this tutorial. I just subscribed to your channel. I am rendering out my second scene of 250 frames and I will splice them together and add sound in Davinci Resolve. Great tutorial!
@@MediaWayUKLtd Thank you Leo. Here is my final animation. There are some issues, i.e. some wheels not touching the ground etc. I tried to follow your steps exactly and here is the end result. ruclips.net/video/j6fcPEy1QWE/видео.html
Awesome Video Leo and well explained. Cant wait to see my cars in your videos hopefully. I have a dream of animating cars going around a race track and showing the brakes getting hot etc. Keep up the good work my friend... Andy
Can you make video on how to create different camera shots as well as some other tricks like bluring whole camera before ibjet enter the screen....... 😅
Thanks for this valuable content. I followed one of your tutorials in 2021 and subbed immediately. I created something similar but it differs in look cos I rendered the animation using Eevee.
Good call! I actually did add it whilst I was making the tutorial, but decided it wasn't worth the overhead in rendering time. If you follow the tutorial and add it - please send me the link - I'd love to see it!!
You're absolutely right mandy_d4! However, for this animation, I wanted to have the choice in the edit of which clips I wanted to use and how long each needs to be. You'll see that there's some overlap in the timeline of the different shots - not possible to do in Blender with timeline markers.
Thanks Zumail! I'm not sure what you mean exactly? If you mean the intro, I've got a tutorial on the channel about using a greenscreen with Blender that should help!
There are already a lot of beginner tutorials out there - search for blender donut tutorial. I don't really want to make a tutorial about stuff that's already covered elsewhere on RUclips. Thanks for your suggestion though!
I’ve just been getting into blender and the thing I wanna know the most is how does the camera, like how would you make it move around the cars instead of cut to different cameras if you know what I mean
Thank you very much for this tutorial. I have followed your instructions and it is amazing. I have one issue on the wheel rotation, the driver side rotated correctly using #frame*2, but when attempting the passenger side, they rotated in reverse. So I followed your instruction to delete drivers and enter #frame-2, but they are still rolling in reverse. Have I misunderstood or is there a fix? Best regards
Hi William. I think you need to enter #frame*-2 (you missed the *) to make them reverse. Although to be honest, if you have motion blur on, they look the same regardless of which direction they're rotating.
@@MediaWayUKLtd thank you. One more question, my HDR of Shanghai appears much larger (or closer) than in your clip, so my models seem very small against the HDR. Is there a way of reducing the HDR image size?

No - I think the final render was at 1080p to save on render time. The rest of the video is in 4K. Good spot!

You can add several cameras, and then add a marker in the timeline. You then right click the marker and 'bind camera to marker'
