Yeah, that's right. It's true that we like to support each other in times of sickness and crisis, but this doesn't mean that we don't respect that each one needs to be alone from time to time.
We balance between the two situations, but of course Anwar did a great job in showing our traditions in a funny way 😂

Am from Africa and I can perfectly relate to you video. When you get sick or hospitalised you can literally get the whole community visiting you at the hospital. The sickness will regret having you 😂😂😂

as an Algerian , i can perfectly relate to my Palestinian brother , the accuracy is on point ( the granny with the Olive oil that can heal EVERYTHING , this is perfection) the exact same thing happened to my brother in the hospital ( minus the beautiful bride) we are just a big big family and we looooove to socialize , that was very funny !

I'm in Morocco right now. I absolutely love middle eastern families they would go above and beyond for there kids. Hospitality and warmth are a big thing with Arabic people.

I have the utmost respect for Palestinian people.
Same here in Bangladesh. I just got out of spinal surgery and everybody was tensed and praying, tears all around pre-surgery, but post-surgery days have been some of the best days in my life with friends, family, food and whatnot, almost like a week-long party. The nurses and ward security sometimes had to interfere.

As a Palestinian 🇵🇸 New Yorker 🇺🇸 I can’t tell you how true to life this is 😝 😜 recently my dad got hospitalized and we come from a large Muslim tribe, my family stalked me and my bother with the love of Allah to talk to my dad every day. So many phone calls it was over the top but also made me honor my family even more. After a month of calls my Dad asked to change his number 😝 he needed a break 😅

this reminds me of two years ago when my mother had her pancreas removed. At the hospital, she stayed for 3 months, and every day for three months I saw new people I never knew. Each one brought presents flowers and food, and it made mom happy, some even slept in the room where she stayed. I am glad we Arabs have such a culture.
