Love this so far! Yeah, it's different, but not in a bad way. I think we'll get more of their personalities as the show moves forward. I feel that being a little more serious is expected from Sokka and Katara when all they've known is a world at war. And the live action is obviously going to be more serious than the actual "for kids" cartoon. Oh, and Suki DID give Sokka a kiss just before they left Kyoshi Island in the cartoon. Right after Sokka apologizes for treating her like a girl instead of a warrior. Suki: "I AM a warrior" *kisses him* "But I'm a girl, too." Though it was just on the cheek, so maybe it doesn't count lol Sokka blushed right through the make-up

No, they didn't kiss. His first kiss was Yue. But they definitely had a little something, at least on Suki's side, because she gave him a kiss on the cheek. I'm rewatching it, and it's starting to grow on me more, lol. I still don't like some changes, but it's fine.
if you go into it without trying to compare every detail of the og show youll be disappointed, but its a good show

Yo Taylor and Joel, I personally think the actresses for the Kyoshi warriors(Suki) are great, even Katara and Aang's actor looked like they were acting well, honestly I did not appreciate the script and the way they wrote Sokka, I get he is a play boy but honesty he feels worse than zach morris from saved by the bell making me hate him more than I did in the cartoon.
@tayscupojoe Taylor honestly i think this version of Sokka is more ingrateful and annoying than the animated Sokka I think the best thing for the writers to do is for him and team avatar to break up in season 2 and break up with suki similar to zuko and mai breaking up & then all of them especially sokka will realize that how important they are to him
