Just getting in early to say Chad & Ellie - This channel is great, love the mix of family & moto. Also a shoutout to whoever edits these videos they're very entertaining
Oh they will, Chad will make sure they all know what they have is not easy to make happen. His harshness with Tate in a previous video is proof of that.
Thanks uncle Ben! I loved watching, learning and helping as a kid. Was doing top ends at 9. First full 82 kx80 resto at 14. Get in there and understand how it all works.
It's so cool watching dude work. You can tell he's into his work because nothing else around him matters at all. It's pretty cool to see what goes on behind the curtain. Most people only get to see a small part of what goes on at the track and there's so much more to it. As always thanks for sharing the videos guys!
That is awesome that she is noticing a vibration on the bike because that just shows that already at the young age she knows the difference between a bike that is running 5 star to one running 4 star and we are talking along the lines of "feel" here not talking about "hearing" a bike being off/bad cause anyone could do that after riding just one good bike... This shows that when she rides her bike she is at one with it which is why I said it was awesome because she is riding over constant uneven very bumpy terrain with jumps and she knows however small that it is there. Thumbs up to the Lads and Ladetts, nice to see future champions going through early years of their sporting careers, and thumbs up to Mr 'N' Mrs Reed for their dedication - big up "22"!
He is absolutely crazy for vapour blasting a engine and not stripping it. The blast gets into everything even into seals and wears everything out super fast
I couldn't imagine the clean up on your bike after the Daytona mud race. That was crazy and a huge upset it had to of been for you. Still a hell of a show though!
Just curious on why you are cleaning the bikes when they are new? My 8yr old son will hopefully start racing this year so I am soaking up as much information as possible.
Blasting a motor that’s fully assembled is totally safe “if you have experience with testing and know what you are doing.” I have vapor gone many motors assembled including my own race bikes. Never an issue. I do cover all rubber seals as well. It will blow by them if you don’t.
@@HarryGraham415 Hard to explain exactly how we do it, but hot glue Is our best friend. use it for all seals. we have 5 years experience with this method.
That vibration on them 65’ is on every ktm65 made, the pipe is so close to the frame an you really feel it nothing can be done I’ve tried it with all 5 of my kids, each kid had a different ktm65 they all had same vibration on them, can’t get rid of it no matter what, piss poor design on Ktm’s end
Face diaper what a sad comment. It’s not only for his kids and yes they can jump and are learning at an amazing rate. I’m sure you are just an amazing rider LOL
Usually race teams can’t and won’t show this kind of detail for obvious reasons. It’s an insight into what race teams do - only he is using the kids bikes. They just started riding so it’s to be expected that they aren’t ripping and jumping everything. They’ll get there. The point of this channel was to share the journey. No one starts anything great !
Ok has I've been a fan of yours since you landed but I would be throwing wrenches at you sitting there with your hands in your pockets and standing on top of me while I was working lol.get out of the way
I keep laughing watching that mechanic's claim to fame is working on a beginner's 65. Why isn't the kid leading how to work on his bike and pay his dues? This is MX a super tough sport. The weak do not thrive in MX.

I always like when Ben makes a cameo appearance! 🤙🏻
Those kids will never know how lucky they are

i came to say the same. crazy. i dont care how much you plug everything up.
@@arktactical1876 the glass media gets into every nuck and crannie. I guess we will find how how good it lasts but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone
@@tylersvensson4468 i could see doing it before you tear it down for the intial cleaning.
guess a factory race mechanic probably knows what he’s doing.
@@tylersvensson4468
It's basically baking soda not glass or sand for media. I just wonder how much it affects case outer seals and gaskets
Good video. Well presented and narrated. Good job, Chad and others that assist you.

That's one race I will never forget watching. I remember who I was with and where I was at.
Wonder if your children really realize how lucky they are?
Damn, that was sweet, thanks guys. Much love
Still feels like christmas morning in your garage
THANKS FOR SHARING .... THANKS TO BEN ................ ALL THE LOVE #22 FAMILY JRHESS 76
Nice song choice. Used it in my last video too haha.

no excuses kids 🔥
I wash my bike maybe twice a year but I change airfilters every 2 rides, oil / oilfilter every 5 rides.
Top Chanel 😍
What kind of dirt bike are you guys using and how much in looking to get an 80cc????
All those nuts and bolts gave me anxiety lol

Any more tips for doing it? Makes a good job but definitely need to be careful

Bike prep like a pro, get a chair and watch a mechanic do everything lol
I want the 6 mins back. I didn’t see anything other than a disassemble and put it back together..
Must be nice.
Way to step outside the boring box and show what has been neglected to the weekend warriors.

Ben talks so much
Very nice and very boring same time.
STEP 1) Build $500K race shop. STEP 2) Have personal mechanic for your kids who cant even jump.
This seems like a waste of time and resources for kids bikes and their abilities.
