Yes Omnisphere 2 is really worth it. Everything you need is in that one plugin. You can bring samples into it and completely change it. You can reverse in it, it has dope basses. You have a great Arp in it, the sounds are world class recorded. it has a glide on it, dope effects. etc. It's like this if you go to Out Put they will sell you three separate software pieces that Omni already has in one unit! This is the #1 Synth on this planet! Straight up. And to install presets is the easiest!
Busy works beats, if your trying to automate something in Omni-sphere, just move it around a little, then click tools in the top left, then select last tweaked, and click create automation clip. And then you have an automation clip for the setting you want to change
Outstanding seeing the instrument used in an actual composition! You helped me make up my mind to purchase. Like How Fl Studio was used in the demo! May purchase that as well. Good looking out!
Omnisphere is definitely a high quality product for producers. Native Instruments Komplete is a fantastic option as well and probably my favorite along with their controllers. UVI falcon is very good as well. I wouldn’t waste my money on products like Nexus 2 that just use products like Omnisphere to create their sounds, it doesn’t have 1/100th of the capabilities and then they nickel and dime you with $60 expansion packs you could have made yourself. Not to mention Nexus 2 uses a USB dongle you have to always have connected to your computer. But don’t ever lose it because you’ll be out of your investment of money.
Things that worried me: 1)CPU overload 2)Too many sounds to get lost in and just scroll all day trough them. 3) Do I really need it if I want to make trance like music where I can just mess around with a synth 4) I decided to get Komplete because it consists of different synths. These are few points I make on why I doubt I particularly need this synth/rompler.
The quality and variety of the sounds in Omnisphere is outstanding. Although I bet I'd mainly use it for atmospheric pads and ambient sounds in general, it could easily take over Nexus as my main plugin for sounds.
Then go to PluginGuru dot com for the best libraries out there for Omn. he also has weekly tutorials where he teaches you how to use Omn, and other synths like Kontakt to tweak or create your own patches. He's the real deal, worked with Eric Persing on Omnisphere, and has built Korg factory sounds for their synths for decades.
Why does everyone love Nexus so much?! Lol I like it alot and mainly use it since I dont have many plugins and just used to it but all the sounds are way too similar or have that distinct fake nexus sound. With this plugin all the sounds are different and unique.
I appr. this video. I purchased Komplete a few years back and I went through Absynth, FM8, Massive and hand selected my favorite patches from all of them I recently took this task. So far they both sound similar, but Komplete also caters to sound effects and movie tracks. If you put in a little bit of time into searching over all the presets. (not including reactor) there are over 6000 presets. I ended up with about 1000 usable musical presets that are effin rock solid! The rest of the presets will probably come in handy if someone asks me for sound effects for film or other stuff in which id be glad to oblige !
not gonna lie but I have learnt a lot of this guy and anouther couple of people but i'm still currently learning write now and plus still buying more vst plugins and this plugin is one i'm gonna be buying in a month time so cant wait to try it out keep up dude
Excellent video. I love Omnisphere! Well worth the money, especially if you put in a little time learning it. It looked like you were experienced with the plugin, but had not yet truly mastered it (you are definitely a master of FL Studios! Your FL Studio skills were very impressive). Great song especially considering very little time spent exploring and perfecting sounds, patches, effects, filter envelopes, etc...Very impressive!

Omnisphere is worth it AF! I was just thinking about how game doesn't really show the justice of it. It whipes out the need for sylenth and serum and all that. It's good AF! Worth the money. Way better than any NI product really. But nothing tops real guitars
Omnisphere is the best plugin un the market really you could love only whit this plugin is just fantastic there are overall 10,000 sounds or more of the best Quality !!!!
Game! Love your tutorials man! I'm pretty sure you can automate parameters much easier by tweaking the knob you want, then going to tools at the top and clicking "last tweaked". You should be able to create an automation clip from that much quicker than finding it in the browser!
Fantastic review! It's rare when someone demos a plug-in in a musical context rather than just highlighting all the weird sounds it can make. Nicely done!
@@jameskeyton1575 your comment is 4 years old but my processor is from 2012 and it could handle atleast 5 omnispheres open easily I only have 8gb of ram to I never tried anymore then like 5

Hey got a question. I set up ominisphere to send all 8 tracks to the mixer separately and it has been working flawlessly. Each track in Omni plays on a separate channel in the mixer independently. But then eventually what happens through recording sessions is that somehow when I play track 4 or track 6 within omnisphere it is also playing through track 1 like it's bleeding sound into that channel somehow when it should be silent. Any ideas?? I have all the tracks routed properly but somehow this always tends to happen and I'm lost here. Show less REPLY
When you're dropping that much cash on a plugin or whatever you wanna call it, you can lso spend like 50 bucks extra to get you an extra 500GB hard drive if not a 1TB drive So you don't need to make space necessarily And putting everything on your C drive isn't always beneficial either, just saying
I got a brand new laptop with an I7 7700hq and 16gb of ram AND I installed the steam folder on my nvme drive and it still crashes when I clone a loop and takes forever to load and each sound I pick takes like 3 seconds before I can play it. Lol. This plug-in is like chewing gristle for your PC. No matter what you got going.
at 14:00 : your cords are wrong! if you make that c# minor akkord, you can't do the d# minor. You say Omnisphere is "a way to stand out for everybody else"...yet everyone has it (apart from me but in a week that changes because of an Omnisphere video by Midihead where he records on his iPhone a simple bell and imports that into Omnisphere and does immense things with it. where did you extract your sound to for omnisphere ?
