Materials
Yarn
hook
pillow form
I used a size 5 yarn and a P hook. I recommend a self striping/ variegated yarn choice for this project since the stitch is simple.

INSTRUCTIONS
Start with a Magic circle
(video if you are unsure • How to Make a Crochet ... )
-hdc (half double crochet) 7 times inside the magic circle
-slip stitch closed and tighten circle, chain 2
-2hdc in each stitch going all the way around
-slip stitch closed, ch 2
-{2 hdc, hdc 1} repeat going all the way around. slip stitch closed, ch2
-{2 hdc, hdc 2} repeat going all the way around. slip stitch closed, ch2
-{2 hdc, hdc 3} repeat going all the way around. slip stitch closed, ch2
-{2 hdc, hdc 4} repeat going all the way around. slip stitch closed, ch2
-{2 hdc, hdc 5} repeat going all the way around. slip stitch closed, ch2
-{2 hdc, hdc 6} repeat going all the way around. slip stitch closed, ch2
-{2 hdc, hdc 7} repeat going all the way around. slip stitch closed, ch2
Continue in this manner until the circle meets the required size for your pillow form.
*if your circle is wavy, you have too many hdc stitches in your initial magic circle
*if your circle is cupping then you have too few in the magic circle
EACH yarn choice and hook size will obtain a slightly different result, the remaining instructions are the same.
