I saw Fishbone decades ago. I still say that Angelo is the greatest frontman that I've ever witnessed. His performance that night was unbelievable.
Saw him do a set of his solo material last year in a club in Houston. There was probably 50 people there and he performed like he was in a stadium. It was awesome

He's just a great human too- My brother and I saw Fishbone when they came around last year on tour with George Clinton. We chit-chatted after their set, took pics, got some of his personal merch and music and then later that night he was just hanging out in the crowd for the other acts, getting hugs and giving hugs.

Yeah Alex, those who know know, like you are basically saying: "FISHBONE IS RED HOT" --- many of us have actually been "rating" them very high for 40 years -- it's a matter of them being under-recognized, under-acknowledged and most frustratingly perhaps, under-paid, given that individually and as band these are some of the top musicians and writer-performers of all TIME. period. Show me a musician who denies that I will show you a poser.

Same here, I just watched the Modern Industry and did a general search for Fishbone. To find new music from one of the greats is simply sublime. Just as fantastic today as they were back in the day!
This song brought me to tears the first time I heard it. It was live at This Is Not Croydon Fest IV in Bensalem Township, PA earlier this year. Did the same thing when I saw them in Fresno, CA a month later, and surely will again tomorrow in Seattle, Tuesday in Portland, and Friday in Sacramento. Amazing song. Hits like few others ever have.

Loved these guys since elementary school. I was like 9 or 10 years old getting ready for school and my older brother would have KROQ from LA Ca. on the radio and "Party at ground zero " would be playing. Such a great song for kids to get their day started. And saw them at The Santa Monica Civic Center in 1987. They played with Public Enemy that night. And after all these years their still alive and well. Making all of us happy with what they do best. Making great music. Thank you Fishbone for all the fantastic memories. We love you all. God Bless!

This has me welling up with tears. This year has already been shit so far. My brother in law (younger sister's husband) died of cancer in January. He was only 57. I'd known him since I was 10. My eldest sister who is 58 is also dying of cancer. Doctor's have pretty much said she can't have any more treatment. I just had my 50th birthday which was directly followed by a week of Covid just because I went out with friends to try take my mind off things and try and enjoy myself. It's not been a great past couple of years to be honest, but I try to stay positive and smile. Then I hear this. The mighty Fishbone. Still going strong and making fabulous and meaningful music. "All We Have Is Now". Such a fitting lyric for how things seem to be going. Thank you for making me smile Fishbone. You always have done. I love you guys as much now as I did when I first heard you when I was 17 in 1990. You still make everyday sunshine x

Glad to see Angelo and co. still making great music. One of the absolute best live bands I've seen. First time was at Rutgers in 1991,with Primus opening. Saw them twice after and they just got better each time .

Norwood is out here on Maui right now producing some new tracks for my band (The Lamonts) while NEW Fishbone music gets released?! Surreal! One of my absolute favorite bands of all time -so good to get new tunes from these cats!

These dudes been putting it out for a long time. My first few times seeing them was late 80’s. Then one night at Tipitina’s in New Orleans , around 94, when Parliament was laying down deep grooves into the late late night, I was front of the stage and felt a few pushes . I looked over, there was some smoking girls in small clothes , and then there was Angelo - And a few others in the band. George Clinton looked down and began to pull them up on the already crowded stage. I remember so many dudes up there that they had to play their horns pointed up for lack of room. Groove and funk got so deep. Til 5am. Lil tornado of magic came through the bar that night.

It does my heart good. And for all of you who are commenting that you saw them 'back in the day', you need to get out and see you some modern day Fishbone. They have not mellowed or lost a beat at all. Wish I could say the same for the other Ska/Funk/Punk bands of their day. None of them can stand up to Fishbone.

I saw Fishbone in 91, 93, and 2021 and the energy has not faded. In 94 at Lollapalooza in St Louis, I found Angelo sitting on the lawn talking to a girl with a crowd around him trying to get his attention. I managed to reach my arm thru and tapped his shoulder while holding a lit J. He saw it, forgot about the girl, stood up, and talked to me and my buddies while we passed it around, chatted, and thanked him for being him. There's a lesson to be learned there kids
He was super cool to his fans and a freakin mad man on the stage. Gawdamn! I love me some Fishbone!
