Because of my father and brother, I grew up with toy trains and I love them. You did a great job on your town with each building representing a piece of your life. I love your town and wish I lived closer so I could visit it.
Wow! That’s amazing! My Dad and I used to enjoy trains when I was a little girl. Pretty sure Dad used me as an “excuse” to buy the trains 😅 That’s okay with me…I loved putting the little farms together complete with wee cows, horses, barns, tractors. It was amazing. This little town in the video is top shelf!
Thank you for including this segment of the Mesa couple’s replica of the 1050’s town on your RUclips channel. It is one of the most impressive and inspirational video I’ve seen in years.
Sweet! Love it so much! If I ever get to retire I look forward to making some dioramas for my 1/64 diecasts. Won't be anything like what these folks have done, but will be nice to do. Great work folks! It's great that Pamela made it in tribute to her memories and friends and family.
That is beautiful and every smile you create from someone seeing this, is gold. You probably will spark creative ideas and kids that see it might someday be inspired to do something special thanks to the creative spark you planted.
You have made a delightful display with your memories and your artistic eye. What a blessing you must be to your neighbors. This track will probably keep you young and limber as you bend down. ❤
I had a 4x8 sheet of plywood train set my dad and I built. I cherished it. Now at almost 50 I got back into plastic models recently. I can feel a train set coming someday soon!
Awesome stuff! I wonder how it stands up to adverse weather? It may be good to get it transferred to somewhere undercover where the public can still see it.
It's pretty cool, everything looks so authentic. I'd be afraid someone would drive into it, it's close to, what looks like a road. And....in my area, some would steal the pieces, no respect.
@trevertravis8963 same here, probably in most places, which is a damn shame. As a kid, growing up, we didn't lock our doors, sure couldn't live that way nowadays.
Doing things like this isnt just a hobby, its theraputic and gives people a chance to tell their story.
So glad too see there are still places without vandalism and they can keep something like this its lovely
This is a wonderful display. Let's hope that it will live on for years to come. I'm so glad that they shared this moment with us.
it certainly is very special. Tickles the heart. ❤
We need more stories like this.🎉
The joys of living thru good old fashioned hobbies.
🏆🏆🏆
They live in a wonderful neighborhood where there is respect and appreciation for their handy work and vandalism is absent....
Mesa is a paradise, if you're white and Mormon.
I'm guessing it's an alwhite neighborhood???
@@leonardodalongisland seeing their model, you maybe right
Don't forget, the neighborhood is "safe," quite and clean..and, noone has destroyed or stolen anything.
I love it. You call tell it's a great community by it not being subjected to vandalism or thievery.
Let's hope THIS notoriety doesn't change THAT. THIS is at ITS heart a very selfless act. KUDOS!
Or an HOA.
Or it's just run by Mormon fascists.
This is amazing, what’s more amazing is no one has stolen items or smashed it up. It wouldn’t last five minutes where I live.
Or what about a car accident while it's next to the road without any protection?
Greetings from the UK! That is AWESOME! Believe me, this art will always be alive!
We may not be able to physically travel back to those wonderful day's of Old . But we can do our best to relive them . Well done .
Wonderful? Only if you were a white male, otherwise....
Wow. AMAZING. And historically accurate. With all the memories. That’s great. 😊
I love how the set-up is a replica of her hometown!
I love it, the sentimental value in this is deep.
Love it! It has a timely innocence like Mr. Roger's neighborhood. 🏘
Mr. Roger's 'Hood never had a bar..he went to the one across the tracks... 🚂🚃🍻🥃🫗🥴🤯😂🤣
@elaineewalt8137 That explains why he and Henrietta were always so happy! 🥂
@thylacine1154

May be the Best Outdoor RR I've ever seen. Plus it's Modeled after an Authentic Town. Very Special.
Awesome . What a fun couple !
Im 12 and I love this, I always loved the 40s - 70s
Wonderful! ❤❤❤
This is so cool. What a great way to spend your time.
I love this so much.
Nice
Then why don't you _marry_ it?
Huh?... Huh?
I absolutely love it. We need more of this in the world.
I'm glad I saw this! Great folks!
why is this not being treated like a valuable piece of art
That couple are amazing. May God bless them and their family. Thank you for putting this out for the world to see.
**IS AMAZING!!**
This is just touching I'd build a model railroad of my home town too this is one the best ways to relive childhood memories I've ever seen 😊.
That's awesome I love it!!!! Never let the past slip away 💖🇺🇸
Fabulous! you’ve put a whole lot of work into that, no wonder people come from far and wide, well done.

Absolutely love it! I grew up in Mesa and now live in Colorado. Have a train collection I share with my son.
Gorgeous. I love it.
Very cool.Reminds me of when I had a train set in my basement. This is extraordinary! Luv it!
I love it. What a cool setup. Nice people
God forbid if a real storm kicked up, but this is impressive and cool.
That’s so cool! Absolutely stunning.
From downunder:- Totally awesome plus, hope you have many more years of fun together with this layout.

That is so awesome. That is so cute. Glad she did that. I wouldn't of thought of that. That was a very good idea to do. ❤❤🎉😉♥️🫂💯😍👍🙏

What a cool couple.. that is so neat what you have built…ya it’s going to be going for a long time… God and Time has blessed both of you…. from Canada
Outstanding work! Beautiful way to recreate your childhood memories.
Memories are the next best thing to a Time Machine. ❤
This is wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
This is so cool!! If I was in town I would totally visit. Hope they can continue with it for a long time!
One of the best news reports on the interwebs. ❤❤
Thats so beautiful and a wonderful thing. Thanks for sharing it with us :) I just put this in my favorites.
Have fun and stay young! A wonderful example of a vision coming to life and making smiles.
as a pro model maker and someone that grew up down the road from Haxtun co. this is awesome!
I had a 4x8 sheet of plywood train set my dad and I built. I cherished it. Now at almost 50 I got back into plastic models recently. I can feel a train set coming someday soon!
Nicely done guys 🇬🇧
❤❤❤amazing. 😅😅😅so great. This is a lot of work done with love❤❤❤
Awesome! Very impressive and I'd like to see it someday!
What wonderful people to do that. I hope there's no windstorm or rain.
Was wondering about it being safe from the elements, hope so
Well since those are things that eventually happen.....
This is so cool. Thanks so much for doing this. I plan on stopping by soon.
This is so cool. I really hope noone messes with it. This is a fantastic way to tell your life story
Very cool! Wish I could see in person!
My grandad would have adored this! I love it too. So wholesome 🥰
Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!! Great story!!!!
I love it ! Keeps them out of trouble lol. Hobbies are so important. I love that they share their hobby with others.
Awesome stuff! I wonder how it stands up to adverse weather? It may be good to get it transferred to somewhere undercover where the public can still see it.
This made my day!
Amazing ... love it
love this!
I love it! I am going by in person to see it real soon :)!
Good for them. Looks like everyone enjoys it and that’s all that matters
WOW. I want to see this.💙😊
Nicely done,,😊
Brilliant ❤
Masterpiece 👍
This is awesome! I have my grand ladies building their own layouts..with Poppy's help of course.🙂
That is so cool!!
Too Much Fun ! Awesome 👍🏻
SUPER COOL INDEED!! What a delight!!
They obviously don’t live in an HOA. There’s always some whiny HOA Karen that wants to be a bully
@@potatoheaadYou even have a choice to live in a City or not. I decided not to live in a City or HOA. The less government the better.
As an ebay seller I appreciate these kind of people.
Congratulations well done so so beautiful
Very cool! Well done!!! Next time we go to our property in Show Low Arizona from California, I am going to try to stop by and see this.
Super Cool! Love it!
That is just awesome😊
How cool!
Especially like the theme of the old buildings. But how are they protected from damaging snow/ice ? . .
I assume covering it up
Awesome!
It's pretty cool, everything looks so authentic.
I'd be afraid someone would drive into it, it's close to, what looks like a road. And....in my area, some would steal the pieces, no respect.
Where I live, vandals would definitely be a problem.
@trevertravis8963 same here, probably in most places, which is a damn shame. As a kid, growing up, we didn't lock our doors, sure couldn't live that way nowadays.
Wild animals would destroy it where I live. Cats would tear it apart. If the local methheads didn’t steal everything to buy drugs first.
wow well made 😊👍🏼
That’s awesome😊
This is so cool love this! 😍🥰
This stuff keeps one younger, than the next person..................
I love this to the moon and back! I really do! Just one question. How do they protect everything from bad weather?
That's awesome.
Awesome! 👏 You went all out, it looks great. My adopted kin relatives were "Mesa ites."
That is so awesome. Ron
When the elders pass away, the memories will go with them
This video will be here long after they're gone.
That must be a good old fashioned small town. No one has destroyed the display.
Very cool. But how does it survive through storms? Do they cover it up?
Wow, Haxtun. My Mom's home town. My Great Grandfather was Mayor in the 30s and also owned the phone company.
Fantastic!!!
They obviously don't live in a HOA community as the dime store despots would never allow such a wonderful tribute to Pamela's upbringing.
