Can someone tell me what what the part is called that is a flued line that causes your car not to engage into gears? Its for a mercedes class "99 located right next to transmition box under the car. Its a plastic pice that conects to a transmition fluid line. Has a rubber sleve over it. It has a leak and i know thats why my car wont engage into gear......?
Yeah gear selecter lower bushel If you're in Australia Mercedes is the only place but there is another couple of places on the Internet I can't think of their names
So I luckily didn't have this problem as it turns out one of my selecter cables from the actual gear Box had disconnected causing my gear stick while in gear to swing all the way left and right but Still find 1st and 2nd
Also you don't need to pull the entire shift out to check it you only need to pull the covers off and then unscrew it from the top give it a wiggle and the casing will slide up the shaft revealing it That Spring loaded bolt is a pain in the ass tho
