- The newest line of rims from We Are One.
Made in Kamloops, Canada, this mountain bike rim design places the spoke holes on beveled surfaces to better distribute force, allowing for a rim that gives where you need it and not where you don't.

So insanely hyped to be able to actually talk about these wheels now. Been laying them up for a while, absolutely cannot wait to see what you think of the ride!!!
Heck yea, they're rad!!
Cheers - Dan at Fanatik
Just ordered mine. Can’t wait to see how kick ass they are!!
thanks for this chill and informative video
looks sweet.
still gonna stay on dt swiss FR models.
There are so many different designs now, riders really need a comparison across many different manufacturers to help understand the ride feel. Also spoke comparisons would be great.
I feel like some diagrams and charts would be helpful when saying they’re stiffer etc.
NOBL’s premium rims also have a unique shape to them. I believe they call it sine curve shape.
I have seen the NOBL rims. Their rim shape is more of a bump at each nipple hole which they claim is for better lateral stiffness and not necessarily spoke articulation like the wave on these WA1 rims. Definitely cool seeing carbon manufactures try out some unique and innovative shapes to give you a better ride. Pretty stoked on how these new WA1 rims ride. We'll have a video out soon with a little side by side ride comparison with the "old" WA1 rims
Theirs seem more like reinforcement on the nipples, VS an entirely different wheel shape. Crankbrothers have a cool one where the entire bed seems to pop out a little bit too.
Too bad it’s a nobl
it's not needed but could be a luxury
looks sweet
I wonder of that geometry would help in an aluminum rim?
Where’s the video of you testing it like the DT Swiss FR541?
Designed tested and manufactured in Canada eh!
Fueled by maple syrup
I'm all about the improvements but I don't like the appearance too much. Might still go with Unions
Pre-bent, to resist further bending?
nice looking too.
I think it is more bringing offset angled spokes to a rim with symmetrical holes.
Any other way of doing it something has to not work as intended or to capacity, so you really get a lot for free with this design.
Nice! Almost the same as the rims WAO did for Berd's Hawk series, 18mm rim depth. This is good because I want the 27.5 and Hawk series only has 29 option. When will the 27.5 be available? Thanks!
27,5" is dead, get used to it. The sooner the better for you
Like we mentioned only the 30mm internal rim width option will be available in 27.5. Its the Triad rim. We have them on order and should see them in stock in the next couple weeks

@@esshoul - For the rear, MX setup. Another wheel option for my Stumpy Evo.
@@esshoul u forget mullet??????
How do they compare to the Zipp 3zero’s? I’m always looking to upgrade for something newer & better
Zipps are extremely soft compliant (flexible) rims
We Are 1’s arguably the most durable/strong/stiff rims out there
Vs crankbrothers synthesis?
@@notpablo8369 call boutique Mtb wheel builders across the USA and they’ll collectively tell you what you want to know
Are these a good emtb choice? I'm looking for something bulletproof for my RM Altitude Powerplay. I'm having to retention the stock rear wheel after every ride.
If you were looking to go carbon these are definitely a worthwhile option!
Has anyone viewing this video actually ride the Convergence Fuse on 29 inches. More like enduro/ trails ride? Feed back please. Thanks
Oh not to mention it’s looks like your wheels are 🌮 when spinning, to bad this design isn’t below the traditional rim shape with an outer layer.
I havent noticed that effect whatsoever on any convergence wheels while they spin, and i like to hink ive seen a ton of em haha
Rim weight for 29 x 30mm?
503g per rim on the 29" 30mm internal width rim!

@@FanatikBikeCo thank you, can't wait to see the test!!!
