yes this is the same as our Red Komodo Whoosh Fuxing Hao KCIC400AF (350 km/hr) . Jakarta to Bandung. (143 km) . It has carried since last year about 5 Million people . We hope it will be extended to Surabaya (750 km) , starting 2025 for the South Java Line.
This travelator looks like the one in Manchester Airport here in the U.K. - I wish we had trains and stations like this here in the U.K. and I would feel far safer in a station like this compared to what we currently have here in the U.K.
We are a couple with two large suitcases, about 20kg each, plus 3 smaller bags. Are the suitcases loaded in the train by station staff (like in airports) or do we have to carry everything ourselves right next to our seats? We want to travel from West Kowloon to Shanghai Hongqiao station.
It really depends if you are Hong Kong or Chinese citizens or not . Prebook ticket required identification authenticate before purchasing. For foreigners buying at station is easier
In low season for a foreigner 30 min ok. While Canton Fair period in October or April better 70 min ,as quee in China immigration might be long. I make in beginning of march within 12 minutes from the first gate to depature. I had prefilled a china arrival card already and no queee at china immigration. HK EXIT via Sd egate
I'm confused by the station names. Is "Kowloon station" the same as "West Kowloon station"? For context, I intend to travel via airport express from HK airport to Kowloon station then take the high speed trail from Hong Kong to Futian.
2 different stations , but very close to each other, approx 5 mins walk. You can check the beginning of the video, i walk from elements mall, which is the kowloon station located.

Unfortunately, i think you have to carry all the baggages by yourself

You need to go through immigration upon arrival in Shenzhen? Or before you board the train in Kowloon?
