$1000 Gold Day At The Beach - Most Insane Hunt Ever!

- In terms of gold finds and amount of targets, this would probably be the best hunt I have had in my 15+ years of metal detecting beaches. Months of tropical cyclones and huge waves have pushed up items from the deep. Due to all the targets, my Go Pro died part way through the hunt. But I managed to get the best finds on video. Enjoy this once in a lifetime treasure hunt!

I will pin this question seems it’s getting asked a lot. I live in Vietnam, we have been in lockdown for 2-3 months. I will begin uploading again once lockdown ends and the beach is opened again.

That was a totally dream hunt, I've been hunting for more than 25 years, and only had no more than 5 hunts that would equal that one! Congratulations!

@@BeachPirate Yes, mostly after Hurricanes. One of the best was a six day hunt at a beach, found 5 gold rings first day, found a total of 48 rings for the six days, 21 of them were gold, which included 2, 1/2 caret solitaries , huge gold class ring, and diamond cluster ring with around 40 or more diamonds.

I appreciate that you get right to the treasure, one right after the other. So much fun to see what you have found. Some videos are 30 min. or more but they do so much talking between each treasure that it’s not fun to watch. Congrats on a great two days of treasure hunting! 💍
I am starting to take up metal detecting thanks to you. My late father used to do it back in the late 80s when we used to live near the Jersey shore. I have commercial diving background, scuba
certified and I plan to hit the area of my lake that is very popular with summer boaters who like to tie up their boats and just chug beers and hang out. Some days there are hundreds of boats
and this have been going on for years. But this year with the lockdown increased the boating traffic so I know some of these people with deep pockets would definitely wear their jewelry
in the water. The best thing about this spot is that you can only access it by boat , so I plan to hit with waders first then when it warms up use scuba and hit the outer ledges. I am expecting
a six figure take on just the jewelry in waders might even double that in scuba. The average boater out there has an income of six figures and they bring lots of their friends its all day drinking
and hanging out. I will let you know how I do, thank you.

The stones in the clover pendant look like green aventurine, and a green turquoise in the larger fancy ring. Maybe you could look up the 1973 graduating class of Walton college to get some contacts. Is there any initials on the class ring?
Unfortunately no initials, only the 'Walton Tigers' and 1973. Would be cool to return it.. worthless to me.
@@BeachPirate I'm good at tracking people down, maybe I'll do some research . What town or beach area did you find this ring, if i may ask. If you look up this ring on Google, they are going for $10.00 LOL. Stainless steel, gold plated. It seems that this was a high school in the Bronx in New York. But maybe there is multiple Walton Tigers around.

The bracelet at 9:25 is a solar system bracelet the beads represent the planets and the one with the ring around it Saturn, the wearer is the sun. 10:32 is white gold. The ring at 11:06 is really old and that could be a piece of Jade, jade is really valuable unfortunately that piece is damaged so probably not worth much, nice. 19:26 if it has some white streaking. It may have been white gold. White gold is still kinda yellow. It's plated in Rhodium to give you that blast white. White gold rings often the white Rhodium plating will rub off. So you'll end up with a pale yellow gold ring with white mixed in with it. You can have them replated. You dug some very old pieces today too. NIce gold, HH!!

I just bought my first metal detector, and the first day on the beach and woods I found a sapphire 24k gold ring , heavy big one , it was 22 grams , and in the woods I found a 10k gold chain it was 17 grams....what a great day...I love it.. in my spare time I go treasure hunting and I also like to scrap metal too..I'd like to one day scrap for a living if I can get enough customers to do high volume..

The ring at 2:38 appears to be a high school ring (1973). Perhaps Walton H.S.? With a little luck and perseverance, you might be able to find the owner and return it.

I've done that as well. One was stainless one was gold that I found in around a year times span.... I found the owner of the gold one ( of course ) but not the stainless one

Hey buddy, in the summer when I am hunting in the water for fresh drops the TDI would probably do a better job. The sand here is soft and targets sink quick. The Nox is perfect in the storm season due to the iron targets everywhere. I hope to pickup an Impulse AQ for next summer.

Hi Howard, unfortunately there is no writing inside. It just says Walton Tigers, 1973. The ring seemed in very good condition, so there is a good chance it was lost more recently by a visitor to VN.

Thanks Larry 👍 I'm yet to try electrolysis.. the tumbler usually does a decent job, but I made the mistake of mixing the rings with the coins. Everythign went brown.

Your gonna have to weigh them in groups of 10k,14k,18k and your 24k...that's how you will get your money's right...that's how a jeweler will pay you...
Silver cleans up with a 1 to 4 part solution of toilet bowl cleaner and water in a small jar with a lid. Swish it around for a while until you see bright, clean silver. Then rinse in warm water for a couple of minutes.
Your silver finds will be awesome.

Great job, use a magnet for a quick check. Around it one that sick to gold or silver. Find a magnet that you can put on a chain and take it with you To do a quick check on the beach. Good luck

That g 750 ring you foung is 18k white gold is it not? That's usually what 750 means.. Amazing video and great finds!!
I believe so. That ring confused me a little because it registered low on the metal detector.. 7-8 from memory. Usually gold rings that size would be in the teens.

That was awesome. Do you trade-in your finds for cash? How long is your average hunt? Which GoPro do you use? Does your GoPro last you the full length of the hunt?
Hi Dubmaster, regretfully I sold or the silver and gold last year for a bad price. I am using the GoPro hero 6, but the battery doesn't last a full hunt. I just turn it on when I get a signal. Hunts usually go between 4-8 hours
