I have found it's quite handy to be able to use the clip on the smaller type of torch to clip onto your top pocket, lights up what your working on directly in front of you (hands free) Stay safe guys. Pete 👍
Personally I think everyone should have at least one light that runs off ordinary batteries. That way if all else fails you always have a light you can get going immediately without having to wait for a recharge!
Been using these for a while now after seeing them in go outdoors. Brilliant especially the magnetic base. Dropped them from height with no issues. Great for jobs where you don't fancy setting full on work lights up. Currently using the big larry 2 and pleased with it. Personally don't like the design of unilite and they all seem bulky/plasticky🤷♂️
Red light is great for outdoor if you don't want to insects to bother you ie camping fishing, have used a red bivvy light for fishing but this is much brighter 👍
Great video I'm now going to look on your channel for a Uni-light reviews. A Red light has less of an impact on night vision, we used to use a red light in the Military for map reading or signalling without giving away your position, also used on ships inside at night so those still working do keep those asleep awake. My wife and I still use red lights at night when star gazing/walking on the Fells it's less intrusive Cheers John.
bought one of them, great light of it, and they are handy, but i just prefer a head torch, that leaves both hands free to work, or the 1750 unilite, just put it in a corner of a room and work away, lasts a good few hours
Red light works brilliant in the dark. There are some advantages for that colour and I will recommend to search for the answers in some military contents.
Nothing handier than a steady or flashing red light if your car breaks down .Just place it in advance of your car .. i believe some car breakdown kits come with a red light
Great little torches from Philex, they are no Unilite but for price they are great.! I have the Slyde King & the Omni2k in this range and very pleased with their performance and durability..!! I would say that the ones you have in this video are the lower end of their range.! Get hold of the Slyde and Omni..! I put these and the head torches in stock and sold out within a week.! (Electrical Wholesaler)
To be honest it would take something amazing to get me away from Olight H2Rs. Used them for years, dropped them a hundred times, charged a thousand times. They still work :)
I have a Nebo headtorch. It's OK I guess but it has a really low switching frequency so it's horrible to use in the rain (the strobe effect picks out all the individual drops of rain) and you can really tell after using it for a while that your eyes hurt. I keep it in the car as a spare. Main one is a Zebralight that I've had for many years. Love it.
good to see a rechargable light with a removable 18650 cell. I have that for both of my nitecore lights,, so if I need them on for a long time, I can swap the cell and not wait for the light to charge
They're are ok but charge doesn't last long. Sometimes you need to reset em as they go into a settings mode and flush on and off when least expect it. Everyone is now raving about unilite.
unilight looks exactly the same as little Larry, makes you wonder if there the same company, got all the larrys and use rechargeable battery's and they last, not a fan of built in battery types as once they fail its not worth replacing the battery
05:31 acually model 3 are 2170 cells ... model S where 18650 ... and now Telsa is busy with 4680 cells .. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_battery_sizes#Lithium-ion_batteries_(rechargeable)
I have to say that you could at least read the instruction manual, so you know how to use them. For me you sound a little bit ignorant in this video. Kind of like - “I’ve got them for free so I make a video but in reality I’m not really interested…” That’s my personal impression. PS. I watch your other channel about your work and I love it.
Red light saves your night vision. So if you switch the torch off, your eyes can adjust to the dark quicker than if you're using a white light.

Good point!
Love my Big Larry 2, wouldn’t be without it. Clips nicely from top pocket. Magnet also useful for retrieving screws.
These torches are excellent!! I use them every day and can't imagine functioning without them. 😊
I’ve used one of these for a while it’s bright, small and has a fairly good magnet plus costs like a 10er 👌
The red light is brilliant when camping because it doesn't attract mosquitoes etc . Indespencible when camping...

These are awesome! Cheap but very good quality.
👍
👍👍👍 Been using big lal for 2 years 👍👍👍
Big Larry Pro and Big Larry have dimmable light if you press and hold, says it on the box 😂
What are these like compared to Olight torches?
red light is to use at night because when you power it off your eyes will not need time to adjust back to the dark.
Thanks

My red flashing light works but the flood light and regular light do not work

My family have banned me from watching this channel but I have my ways around it.
Haha 😁
Can you make a video about the wera kraftform turbo ?
Magnet one onto a CU next time your in a cupboard! Amazing :-)

If it’s dark and you use a red light it preserves your night vision so your eyes don’t have to adjust, it’s more of a camping wilderness type thing
Cool

Your Model 3 has 2170 batteries, the S has 18650's
Thanks
This is more of a camping focused light, hence the images on the packaging and the red light.

If you’re going to do a review then at least learn how they work and stop wasting our time and misrepresenting your freebies
Often red light is used to not take away completely your night vision.
Big larry two batteries got stuck inside from factory customer service horrible

Red light for night driving interior lighting
Red light is for camping,, discourages flying insects
Big BOSS lol but they are fantastic.
