I just ordered the MC 2 today and can't wait to get it. This is the one I wanted but man is that a lot of extra money for someone with my skill level

Problem is you can buy a FE-350 DualSport for this money....or a Canyon Spectral on CF-8 with nearly the same specs for half the price. 12K+ MTB need to become a thing of the past. It is a nice bike but too much money.

Well comparing apples to oranges doesn't make much sense as a value proposition. Never even heard of the dual sport MTB anyway - is it a hybrid?
The Spectral:ON CF8 has a different shimano system, plus a Rhythm fork and Performance shock. It's an excellent bike though! Scroll back to see our review from a couple of years back.
This is the top model in the Mountain Cross range - there are a couple of more models available with all the same design features, different specs including alloy frames for several thousand less. Same ride dynamics - different price points.

Not a critique of your review...just of the absurd price.@@Australianmountainbike

Bear in mind this is the top model in their range@@RadioReprised. Most carbon e-bikes cost around this much and more. That said, do check out the Pedal Bikes Titan II we just reviewed ($3499) and the Polygon Siskiu T6E ($5500) - that review will be live next weekend.

@@RadioReprisedI understood you. There is no reason why a mountain bike should be more expensive than something with an engine. It's retarded.
