Is it only me or does anyone else think Ding Ning has a back/lower back injury, at 5:33 she dries off her hand on the table and looks like her back is about to give out, really worried about that, I have noticed her movement in recent years appeared stiff at times and her posture has a slight forward tilt. Sports injuries at this level can put careers into decline.

Apart from that she should stop she is not fast enough any longer and her playstyle relies too much on spin , which does not fit the new ball. She had a great career time to end it.
Admired Ding Ning for her peak and power but looks like her time is up. Easily still one of the top players but problem is China got too many upcoming younger female paddlers who can challenge her. SYS was absolutely fantastic today
whether ding ning got injured, sys just destroyed her I guess ding ning wanted to retire after last olympic, but she couldn't do because chen meng and zhu yuling weren't as reliable as their former legends back then, who could imagine that chen meng has improved so much, cmt get a rising superstar(sys), ding ning gets devasted and humiliated by sys, cm, wmy almost every time they encounter

She defenitely has some sort of injury. It's allway recognisable when a player plays injured. And she defenitely moves like an injured person.

Ding Ning's time on the throne seems to be over and her tomahawk serve, which has never been good, is completely worthless!
