Super packing puzzle, slick solve. The addition of holes for an extra symmetry challenge, raises this puzzle to the next level.
For sure. Turns out the 2nd solution wasn’t accurate!
Hi Greg, nice solve for the rotational one :-) ... there is a different solution for the holes with the mirror symmetry - where the axis of symmetry coincides with the shape itself (square). When you are looking for a possible solution, you have to look for the one where the holes are a part of a fully symmetrical shape (not only holes).
Cool! Frederic also wrote about that, I’ll check it out.
That's an awesome packing puzzle👍
Yes it is!
I internally screamed at you to put the blue piece first
Lol. Feel free to shout on your phone louder so I can hear
Wicked puzzle, thanks for sharing .. .
Thanks for watching, Keith!
Hi Greg, thanks for the nice review! Glad if you had fun solving the LIL Pack : )
About the second challenge, your attempt is nice, but this is not the solution.
The holes are symmetrical to each other, but we must also take into account their position on the square.
If you draw a line in the middle of the symmetry, the 2 parts of the square must also be symmetrical
(I have just reread the explanations of the puzzle and this may be a bit confusing, I'm sorry about it).
I would be happy to send you the correct solution. Is there a way to write to you directly?
Otherwise you can contact NYD and ask for my email address.
Oh I see. Yes I was a bit confused by the explanations - they could be understood in multiple ways.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
