Definitely! It is so fascinating and there is still so much we don't know. It's a smokey weekend in Idaho. Hope the air is cleaner in NC. Thank you Allen!
A beautiful virtual tour to keep the students engrossed. I will be using it for my virtual field trip ASA. hope to get more of Yellowstone park as clear as this
Thank you for your kind words, we are glad you found it interesting. We have a playlist with more Yellowstone videos if helpful: ruclips.net/p/PLr8gdOF3mfOypxC9YY9rbGYbBKFTpDTcx Enjoy your virtual USA trip!
Liberty cap is beautiful, 45 feet is very tall. Wow irange color looks so nice, Beautiful boardwalk. Minerva Terrance view is awesome. Yiu are right mound terrace is very colorful looks like gold. Grassy spring and main terrace area is my favorite. I don't understand why smell bad ? Those are a lot of stairs. Great place, very nice presentation thank you for sharing. Your friend from Michigan.
We are so glad you enjoyed it! It is definitely one of the most aesthetic features in the park, we have been on this trail many times. The bad smell is from the hydrogen sulfide, which smells like rotten eggs. It rises from within the Earth and is released at the hot springs. It doesn't smell bad everywhere, just in a couple spots. Thank you very much Bobby!
Good afternoon Alex & Evan and little man that has a good nose to smell ! Lovely video well captured and edited as usual and Evan natation had so much to it ! We have been also to Mammoth Spring but we didn’t se as much as you , the arch in the beginning we didn’t see it and other springs also . We had plenty of elks laying in front of the Palette spring it was amazing, I had the chance to capture them in my video . Have a great week H&S 👩❤️👨🇨🇦🌈
Hi Hélène & Serge! Thank you for your kind words, we appreciate them. What an amazing experience it must have been to see all these elks at Palette Spring! We saw elks in the area three years ago but not this time around. I will check out your video. Bonne semaine les amis! Hugs
Thank you !!! Great video !!! I wasn’t sure about going there tomorrow because we are exhausted!!! But after watching I will !!!!! Every area is unique !!! I’m so in love with this place ❤️❤️❤️🌍🌍🌍
Glad to hear that our video made you want to see Mammoth Hot Springs! Get there early if you can (before 9am).You're right, every area is unique ❤️ Have fun!
Thank you for your feedback. Great to hear you found it helpful. We have a Yellowstone playlist with other key attractions if you are interested: ruclips.net/p/PLr8gdOF3mfOypxC9YY9rbGYbBKFTpDTcx
Beautiful! So colorful and interesting. I liked your pics for contrast from your previous visit, and good information along the way. Hope to visit there some year. Well done. Thanks for sharing and have a great day 😀👍
Thank you very much! It is really interesting how much this feature evolves with time. It is one of our favorite attractions in Yellowstone. Have a great week!
The way you talked through your route was extremely helpful. I followed your hike along on a map and it was an extremely logical route that seemed to hit all the spots!
We are so glad to hear you found our recommendations useful and was able to hit all the spots. Thank you for letting us know, we really appreciate it. We hope you had a great time in Yellowstone, Jeff.
I've put Yellowstone on my bucket list. I'll be going 2024 hopefully. I wanted to go sooner, but I have big trips coming up next year. Thumbs up for the vlog.
Thank You very much. Surprising views and I suppose (the little boy mentioned it) a strange smell. :) Thank You for sharing your views and news about this extraordinary beauty of this place. :)
This is one of our favorites places in Yellowstone. This place is so lively and beautiful. So glad you "came" on this hike with us today, it means a lot 😊
Three years made a significant difference in the appearance of the springs! Palette Spring is suitably named for it beautiful colors. Love the footage at 3:07!
That's good you got little man doing the introduction now 🤣🤣. Yeah this is one of the major attractions of Yellowstone and it's crazy how much it changed over the last 3 years. This was a really good virtual tour of the Mammoth Hot Springs. I forgot how big that whole area was and how much there was to see. Very nice video guys and thanks for sharing your adventure.
Little Man is more willing to engage in front of the camera (except after a nap lol!) It really is a cool attraction and one of our favorites in YNP. The nice thing about this trail is that you can walk as much or as little as you want and you will see nice features no matter how far you go. Thanks so much Eric!
I loved how the title popped when you moved :) I really loved the colors and texture of the mammoth Springs. So unique landscape. Glad they have boardwalk, I am imagining how the first settlers might of explored this difficult landscape. I see great photographic opportunities with steam and colors :) thanks for sharing.
Mammoth Hot Springs is a paradise for photographers for the reasons you mention, you would have fun there. I am so glad this is located in a National Park, where it was be cared for, it is so delicate! Thank you Vignesh 😀
Everything was so colorful and beautiful. You all did some great commentary about the different areas and some interesting facts. Loved your comparison pictures from a few years ago and now. Some really great content as usually and edited prefect.👍👍
Thank you so much Lance, we appreciate it! We are very partial to Mammoth Hot Springs as we totally love this area. It is amazing how it keeps evolving.
You would love it Alessandro, the whole science behind it is fascinating! Thank you so much for supporting us since we started the channel, it means a lot to me :)
Yellowstone is fascinating. It wasn't so busy, and we are guessing it is because half of the campsites were closed. We got up early and explored all day and it was smooth the majority of the time. Merci de votre passage Sylvain!
Hélène & Serge tu sais que j’ai déjà mis les sous-titres à mes vidéos dans le passé je suis rendu trop paresseux. 😝 I used to put some subtitle in my videos but I’m too lazy. 😂 I will do it when the videos are short in text. Just look Route 66 videos. Good afternoon to you all.
C'est un plaisir de rencontrer un ami de Serge! Sylvain - nous aussi nous faisions des sous-titres en francais dans nos videos, mais plus maintenant. Bonne fin de journée à tous 😀
This is beautiful!! I’m trying to plan my stay, and am stuck between staying near the North entrance or near the West. I’m leaning towards the North as it looks so peaceful, and of course I would still visit the West for a day- but I’m worried the West gets so touristy that it would be more stressful! The North definitely does not seem as constantly crowded, but the West is what I’m told has the “most” sites to see, and I’m also afraid I could regret not staying primarily there. Seems like your family really loved the North! Let me know if you have any advice :) thank you!
Hi Kellie. The North area is more peaceful than the West. However, it might be best for you to stay near the West entrance and do a day trip to Mammoth Hot Springs. The rule in Yellowstone is to get up before dawn so you can be on the trails before the crowd comes. We have seen a lot of Yellowstone. Here is the link to our Yellowstone playlist with many of the attractions to see there, if you are interested: ruclips.net/p/PLr8gdOF3mfOypxC9YY9rbGYbBKFTpDTcx I hope this is helpful to help you plan your trip! :)
Hello! Thanks a lot for your nice video! I am a disabled young man in a wheelchair: do you know if there's a way to reach Jupiter terrace without any step (using for instance the path below Cleopatra terrace)? This info would be of great help to me.
Hi Aurélien! You are right that there are no stairs if you are using the path below the Cleopatra terrace to reach the Jupiter terrace. However, there is a really steep hill with some gravel that would not be safe for someone in a wheelchair, even with someone helping. I would not recommend it for this reason. Unfortunately, this is the only option to reach the Jupiter terrace without stairs. Yellowstone's website has information on accessibility at Mammoth Hot Springs on this link: www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/mammothaccessibility.htm and also has information on accessibility in other areas or the park further on the page. Let us know if you have more questions for this trail or others. Thank you!
@@WithinHikingDistance Thank you very very much for the info, that is very kind of you! At least now I know what to expect when visiting the springs next year. And perhaps my power wheelchair will give me a slight chance to climb up to Jupiter terrace... Thank you again for your answer, and also for all those nice videos. Best regards from France
Great video. Well done and great that you get to enjoy it as a family. New SUB here!! We were in Yellowstone a couple months ago on our tour of all the NP’s. We really enjoyed it. Check us out when you get a chance. Thanks and safe travels. Stay in touch, John and Bev
