There were a few F bombs off camera, fussing with the length of the screws in the fixture - which was very heavy. I drop so many screws and things, if I had my choice of superpowers it would be telekinesis, if only so I don't have to climb down that stupid ladder again. "Accio wrench!!!"
hahaha. Your comments and interactions with your hubby play out just like they would with my fiance and I. Love it. And, of course, love that finished look! It really takes the light fixture to a higher level!
LIke I said, I've gotten more use out of that one class from high school than most anything else in my life. Fun fact: If you've attached two wires with a Marrette properly, they won't come loose no matter what, which is why they can support the weight of the fixture while I fussed with the octagon box.
This video is exactly what I needed to guide me as I'm tackling the same project. Thanks to you both!
It looks great. Good teamwork.Y our husband was very calm. There might have been a few choice words in my house!
Lorna F Editing is wonderful!

I was wondering about that! We never did that sort of stuff in my shop classes in school.
It looks great, thank you.
Would E6000 glue do too much damage to the ceiling when taking it down?
Gucci Mayne Hmm, it might do some damage. It might ruin the medallion removing it. But it depends on whether you ever expect to remove it...
I need your honey. You are so lucky.
American houses are made of paper and styrofoam. This is sad.
