    I did that same thing. I went down to Remlap AL and walked the land that my people once owned. It was such a spiritual journey. Thank you for sharing your story.

      i also agree! pretty sure he can afford it and with his influence, he can definitely talk it out with the present owner of the property to buy them out.

    I'm pondering at the profundity of this. Looking back in time, it's easy to look at the average - and base our assumptions on that. But in reality, there is no average. Sometimes our ancestors had much more, and other times they had much less. I'm happy for him that his ancestor had more and good on him for joining the series and finding out the truth.

    I find disgusting that is slavery is happening today and also how could anyone,.society or government of any human history around the world thinks slavery is good? All slavery is wrong no matter what
