- Amy from @Chroniclesofrosieres emailed me way back in the spring inviting us to come and stay at Chateau de Rosieres e Viverais if we ever happened to pass by. As it was a 14 hour drive for home I didn't think we would have the opportunity but the kore I thought about it the more I wanted to go. Of course I chose the most inopportune time to visit, 3 weeks after she had given birth and a week before Christmas! But Amy assured me it would be fine, I think she is very used to having a lot of people around!
We stayed for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. Of course we were not really thinking about getting jobs there, that was just a bit of fun and an excuse to try out the farm equipment!
Please do follow Amy and Marcs adventures, they have a huge project on their hands and have so many plans for the future of the chateau and the grounds.

I smiled, I laughed, I enjoyed this episode a lot. I adore the dog Pepper and the film of Holly and the baby was priceless. I enjoyed seeing the Christmas decorations and the tree being trimmed. What a beautiful place and what a beautiful family. I would love to see more of the Nicki and Carlo and Holly adventures at the Chateau.❤

This is one of the most underrated channels. Unbelievable that you don't have millions of followers. It is a fantastic channel with extraordinary content.
I'm a newbie to your lovely channel. You guys would have that castle whipped into shape in no time. Carlo is a natural when it comes to fixing things and flying that drone. It's amazing to watch you both as you are on this journey together. Thanks so much for showing us another way of living somewhere else. Nicki, you're a strong woman! Amazing all of the things you do (carrying your makeup gear on the scooter, hiking, hauling, your entrepreneurial spirit, etc.). Wish I would have found you during lockdown here. When I have time, I crave watching more. I introduced you to my 80-something year old friend and she's half Italian from South Dakota and she can't stop watching either. She's just in love with you guys. She enjoys hearing Carlo's language and recalls hearing certain words from her grandmother. Anyway, thanks again! Hugs to your fur babies and everyone.

It's nice to see Holly going on your trips. There are definitely advantages to life without steps, having a garage. Your home in Positano is perched high with spectacular views, but......as you grow older it would be easier to find a place with both gorgeous scenery and no steps.

What a magical place, full of animals and surrounded by so much beauty. One of my favorite things about moving to the south of France is the Farmer’s Markets, I truly feel so much joy walking through them and purchasing fresh produce. Thank you for sharing your travels through France and for sharing what a beautiful space Amy and Marc have created. Truly was such a joy to watch.

The huge sweet dog in love with Carlo and both dogs jumping in the little truck to be with you all 😂, and Holly with the baby under the tree🤗. Carlos Italian accent is lovely when he speaks a English.
I remember you getting Holly's rabies booster done, I am sure it was more that 6 weeks ago! . Two you tubers I recently follow that live in Portugal got to the ferry and could not go to the UK for Xmas because their dogs booster was less than 6 weeks prior.. So they had to drive back to Portugal! Cross fingers for you.

This video was really different to what you normally do and it was very nice. I really liked that there were so many shots of the animals getting up to happy mischief. The setting is just lovely and beautifully captured and you and Carlo are, as always, wonderful. Holly is such a beautiful, beautiful little soul. I was giggling at the rooster running screaming from holly. Such a drama queen. 😂

Add Dick from "Escape to the Chateau" and Rosieres will sparkle! Loved the Pepper and Holly Doggy mobile. Holly must have loved running around on the flat ground - no stairs to tax her little legs!
