I think I've heard about the girl that you were talking about in this video. During high school, I was involved as a volunteer in a national organisation named ASAP *doesn't mean as soon as possible :))* which fights against plastic pollution and climate change for one year. It was pretty difficult for me to convince all of my classmates to join these ideas, such as reducing the amount of plastic that is used every day or even recycling the three main categories which I think the majority of us know.🌍 And I received help from my geography teacher and organised wonderful activities. Look, after I finished my activity as a volunteer in mid-2023, I've still been standing for these issues and possible solutions to combat them. I remember that we even had a recycling club in my school and even though few classmates had joined us, I was so delighted that they actually care about climate change. The best accomplishment that I had during my involvement was implementing a sorting system in my school. With other colleagues, we made some garbage bins made out of recyclable materials ♻. Romania still has many environmental problems, such as burning fossil fuels and pollution in the major cities caused by vehicles. If I'd like to get around somewhere, I use public transportation. Overall, I enjoy discussing this topic, because I have several brilliant ideas...

Jeremy was a Jedi, but he was a parasite in the Order. He only joined the Order for free food and a place to sleep. Fighting Sith Lords freaks him out, so he is always the pilot on the Jedi Order's missions. One day, he discovered Tatooine, a planet with two suns. A planet having two suns was one in a million in the galaxy. Jeremy began to feel climate anxiety for Tatooine, as it was a desert planet. Jeremy wanted to hop in his starfighter, fly to Tatooine, and blow up one of the suns so the people on Tatooine wouldn't be so hot. Jeremy kept pushing the thought away. When he finally decided to set off for Tatooine, he put it off again because he was too afraid. Jeremy was scared that if he blew up one of the suns, the Jedi High Council would get mad at him.
Climatic change is one of the worst problems that is frightening young minds. It can severely affect their future. It can deatroy our only home, our mother earth, which is one in a million sort of planet. We together can make a change. One person can make a huge difference, so I think we all should take the required measures to save our planet.... Our home... Together we can work this problem out.... We must not push this issue aside.... It is our duty to combat this being this citizens of this wonderful planet... Cheers to planet earth 🌎🌎
My advice to children and young people is, always question what you are being told. Ask yourself what do you know about climate change? Where did you get your information from? My own view is that the climate has always changed and the climate crisis exists only in computer models, models that don't match observation. But don't take my word for it, get as much information as you can but do beware of the mainstream media that never presents any alternative to the climate crisis narrative.
Let's focus less on uncovering the inherit hypocrisy of being human and more on what we should be doing as individuals to deepen our relationship with living things- including other humans- that depend on the same living system we call Earth.
I happened to be listening to two young parrots worried about the climate change. The one, that seemed a bit less of a parrot, said "These stupid humans! Teach us to parrot them about the climate danger, but then do nothing about it.". the other one, more of a parrot, said "I am worried because if the humankind disappears, we'll risk to remain devoid of our opinions.". A human neighbour was passing by. The second one said "Look at that human parassite!", but the first answered "No. He is not a parassite. He is rich. Parasites are those that do not do enough for the money he gives them". I said, to myself, "Wow! What's going on? Here even the parrots seem to think more...".
Just watched the BBC 6 Minute English on "Kids and Climate Change" 🌍, and I’m so moved by Immie and Milly’s words! 🌱 Immie’s analogy of climate change as a parasite really hits home-it’s scary to think about how it’s growing while everything else suffers. 😔 We only have one Earth, as Milly said, a “one in a million” planet, and it freaks me out too that more isn’t being done to protect it. 💚 We need to act now before it’s too late! #SaveOurPlanet 🌳 #ClimateActionNow 🌍 #OneEarth
Climate changing is not very regular because climate become change about in million but it does change very gradually, weather changing is consists on months however climate change does getting change but with slow progress so climatic changes are subtle to analyse... Also freak's me out sometimes!
It whole from perception point of become responsible. Gradually can see the end of planet. Relativity tells time is elastic. Nature more wise than human. We think less and dilate more time. So Greta no problem.
Hi, there.😊 I'd say we have to mend the division not only between generations but also between developing countries and developed countries by talking honestly about the climate change. As always, thank you for your outstanding lesson.☺️
'take up' here means that the children decided to join and continue the strike. More generally, it means that an idea has been continued or adopted by someone else.
