Hey Alex. Is it possible to share your design files? I love the design you've made, and have a friend who can weld the parts needed for me. Would love to have some tips from you

Very cool project! Congratulation. Your roaster is a closed system. Can you smell you roasting in the room?

What size of pipe on your chaff collection is it 4" for main body and 2" outlet for air? Did you add any fins for the vortex?

Really enjoyed your creative build! I've built a full size shop dust cyclone, so appreciated that touch. (Check out Bill Pentz for cyclone dust collection - great tips and design ideas.) It would seem that recirculating the hot air from the cyclone back into the roaster would save a lot on the energy requirements, and I'm toying with that idea. And thanks for pointing me to the facebook page for fluid bed roasters - I'll check it out. I'm outgrowing my hot air popcorn modified roaster. :/

I’m planning on building a version of this roaster, do you think I could scale it up with an 8” glass chamber and 2 heaters? I’m hoping to hit 5lb roasts.
