Regulations are there for a reason. We should subsidize the small farmers instead of the corporations. The regulations are teaching safe, sustainable farming, without land erosion and poisonous fertilizers. The new water regulations are there for a reason too. We know now how to water more efficiently, using a portion of the water we are used to using. The little farmers need help to keep up, then we should help them do it. The big farmers are fighting this because they stubborn and used to doing things the way they have for a century now, but their lands are becoming infertile and eroded. The new way of farming is actually the ancient way. It has changed over the years because of man using poison on the crops to get rid of insects so the vegetables look nicer. The insects are necessary too. They pollinate everything.
I agree with Christina. She has done everything she can to save water and help the environment. SUBSIDIZE THE LITTLE GUY FOR ONCE! That's what the government is supposed to do. Government help is not a handout! It is what we pay taxes for.

One word PFAS was put in well water mostly by Fire Departments and Government failure to protect all water sources. So when are they going to test and tell us how much PFAS is found in the food we grow and eat. That said building Atmospheric water generators and using solar panels and slow speed underwater turbines to power them may be a work around for now.

To say: "To hell with the environment" because the small farmers can't afford it is stupid. We are the wealthiest country in the world. If we can't help and subsidize the small farmers, there's something wrong. Corporations get tax breaks and lax regulations while they push out the little guys in every industry. If we can help the corporations, we can help the small farmers. They are the backbone of our society. Government help is not a handout. That's what Government is for. It can't just be a free for all. Corporations would win every time because they have more money. This was a ploy to make us think regulations are evil job killing things, when they are there to save lives and protect the earth. Money shouldn't be an issue when we are talking about something this important. Once its poisoned, toxic and eroded, we cannot get it back.
