@@georgebailey3073 I deliver for Amazon, we do NOT throw the packages. Period. We're not allowed. Not to mention we have no clue wtf is in the package. If they throw it, then they should be fired. Me personally? I'd place it 7nder a porch so it wouldn't get wet from rain. Unless you have a fenced in yard and have a "beware of dog" sign posted. Then you're fucked. I'll leave it at the gate. I got bit before. No thanks. My safety comes before any package.... Damn chihuahua.

The guy that actually delivers is usually a self-employed courier with own vehicle, who collects parcels from the company's depot then delivers them for certain (very small) amount per parcel. They usually aren't directly employed by companies like this, so cannot be given a P45 as such.

I just had the same UPS experience, it’s not funny, some people spend a few quid on eBay but I had a £600 package and they still lobbed it over the fence, even though I had selected it to be left with a neighbour. Bottom line - these are people’s goods, and if you don’t have respect for it then don’t do the job.
And so he/she should be!! It's legitimately appalling for any courier/postie to leave packages over a fence like that regardless of the weather!

cathy blair Legally it’s RUclipss fault, as they choose the courier, it’s their option to choose the courier, if the courier does it wrong then the sender is to blame.
I think RUclips just needs to fly you out to either their UK or global headquarters for future awards!

Deliveries are shocking. They sometimes don’t bother knocking on the door and just leave a parcel letter to collect it. But that is shocking. Chucking an award or anything over a fence and letting it get completely damaged is disgusting! Terrible service. So gutted Phoenix couldn’t open it with you bc of how it was left. Love watching you guys👍🏼
Maybe RUclips need to put FRAGILE-GLASS on the packaging although ups will not see it.

Mark & Rox,you need to do a follow up video of this showing you ringing or even going to ups branch near you and film it to see what if anything they say and do about this.It's put me off using them again for sure.Don't let it get you guys down too much & keep the vids coming, love em.

As for UPS, that is not the service anyone expects unless the receiver has instructed the driver to throw it over the fence.

As a Ups driver I can say that leaving a package in a safe place is fine but I always check the weather forecast and if necessary I would have left it in a weather release bag to keep it dry. Shame on that driver. As a UPS driver I apologise on his behalf.

Toby Ingham it’s better than most. It depends on your local driver. I had one come back around to check if we were in and we were. Truly amazing really, not many drivers would try and deliver twice.
@@Horizon301. I run a store, once had a wholesale delivery by ups and they decided to leave a £3k delivery outside of the shop rather than bring it in whilst the shop was open and I was in. UPS are the worst delivery company.
Toby Ingham wow. Can’t disagree there, for home deliveries, I find Hermes to be pretty crap. Again though it’s all dependent on your driver, if you have a crappy own for your area it’s going to make even then best company look awful
You should blow dry the back of it and the certificate and put it in a new box so Phoenix can have the joy of opening it with his dad.

I'm so choked up. RUclips and UPS need to make this right. RUclips sends it before you can tell them a day? UPS doesn't leave the package in a safe place? Flowers aren't going to cut it this time. Hurting an adult is one thing, but hurting and disappointing a sweet baby boy is quite another. Heartbreaking.
The UPS driver should be released of his or her duty's. Maybe RUclips should be looking for alternative means for delivery. UPS owe's a child an award. Simply the lowest form of service. I permanently use crutches and mine were breaking so I ordered some new ones. UPS delivered them and the box was completely smashed and they came scratched. Is it a competition for them!? 😂
