What is clear is some have no knowledge about what actually takes place. What we lacked was a post touch like a KD who can rise over anyone. What that does is draw in multiple defenders opening room for others to cut and get easier looks. Embiid is not providing that and nobody else is. From watching past Olympics games that was what KD did best even Melo or Kobe. Right now every thing is perimeter based and we don’t have a deadly post up or middy game because KD is not there. If you want to rely on shooting threes with Steph then you are running away from the inside game which is how everyone else is keeping it up close. I suggest you go look at past games Olympics games with KD before you start dissing. He has averaged 30 points in three gold medal games and is still at top of his game now even after that injury. There is still no defense for KD and what we are lacking is a player who dominates inside first and they won’t leave KD than he has Curry to swing too. But it starts with dominating the interior before we open up our outside game first. We are not supposed to be playing chess now fools and be in same position with points but beating them by like 20 plus. It is a team USA first now and get over your biases from what happened in NBA and see what is needed not based on your closed mind.

From watching past Olympics games that was what KD did best even Melo or Kobe. Right now every thing is perimeter based and we don’t have a deadly post up or middy game because KD is not there. If you want to rely on shooting threes with Steph then you are running away from the inside game which is how everyone else is keeping it up close.
I suggest you go look at past games Olympics games with KD before you start dissing. He has averaged 30 points in three gold medal games and is still at top of his game now even after that injury. There is still no defense for KD and what we are lacking is a player who dominates inside first and they won’t leave KD than he has Curry to swing too. But it starts with dominating the interior before we open up our outside game first. We are not supposed to be playing chess now fools and be in same position with points but beating them by like 20 plus. It is a team USA first now and get over your biases from what happened in NBA and see what is needed not based on your closed mind.
I mean they do have people like bam and dbook who are great in the midrange, also kd in the post isn't as good as U think he is

Hes ab what i expected,good touch on floaters and inbetween game,good play finisher,shooting upside potentially,very good shot blocker and extreme length on the inside,needs to get stronger and hopefully improve laterally. also the i think he has awareness issues not motor
