I am surprised no one has commented on this. For a cam that has no overlap it sounds really good. I was kind of second guessing my choice because I bought the cam not for sound but still wanted some sound if that makes sense lol. Beautiful car Chris.
This cam won’t necessarily win peak dyno rwhp number awards but it makes a really strong and flat torque curve with respectable peak HP numbers and honestly I think it sounds badass. You can totally tell it has a cam and of course it drives 100% stock since no overlap. I also like how quiet the valve train is but most of that is the OEM lifters and correct pushrod I implemented. Overall I like this cam and its perfect for what I use it for which is drifting where I can pedal the throttle in the mid range and control the car easily. This cam would also do well with a blower.
@@chrisedwards2624 It's a mild build with approx 13 PSI and 408 cubic inches lol. I think it will make a lot of power and drive amazingly well. I can't wait. I should have it running in a week or two. I pray for my C5 trans and diff lol.
@@amplezemi4 All the numbers and supporting mods are listed in the video description. 456/439 on CA 91 and 482/462 on E85. I’ve seen guys make 470/440 on 93 on unported heads
You’re right, the cam does have a somewhat noticeable chop to it. But compared to some of the huge BTR and TSP cams, it could be considered somewhat mild. And imagine going to all the trouble of putting a cam in and having it have no chop? That would just be sad

@@chrisedwards2624 what kind of numbers did you make with this cam?

@@chrisedwards2624 great numbers from such a mild mannered cam.
This cam sounds amazing... not radical and a good lope... i love it great choice... probably drives good too
This is exactly what im looking.
Do you think this cam would do good in a Magnuson supercharged ls3 ?
Yes it’ll work fine
What rpm do you idle this bad boy @
825
It's the overlap that chops, you're on the wrong side for the chop it seems
It's not a ghost cam because the car really is cammed 🤣
