It is indeed very nice artwork, but basically I do not like mirrored images. Until 2.26 or so left and right side are not exactly the same, there are some small details that add a lot. Why did you finally give up those and decided to make both halves identical?

For a time, this head was only going to have half of it displayed on the screen, but as I worked I really enjoyed how it all looked together and so we altered the intro around what I had created. The decision to make it mirrored was made with time in mind. I had already spent 3 maybe 4 evenings pixelling this, a decision was made to mirror. I am like you, I prefer asymmetrical images, but time was against me.
You created an awesome pixel art work on the Amiga 😺👍. Also, i still own the original Commodore 64 and Amiga computers + games 😺👍🕹️. And i also draw the fan arts of the old Commodore 64 and Amiga games and share them on RUclips 😺👍. Most of them are the furry fan arts 😺🐰🦊. Greetings from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.

as for playing it on amiga Mini, I think there's a mod out there that allows you to play .ADF files, if you have that then yes, you will be able to play it on Amiga Mini :)
Did I enjoy? Definitely! Thanks for sharing it with us... This is some Bitmap Brothers level of graphics and I consider it kind of a pixel art tutorial with those steps you're showing... So, it seems working in blurry chunks and later defining them works quite well in Deluxe Paint, and I suppose you're also using some Wacom tablet or similar while in Winuae?
Thank you! I would love to do a tutorial, althought something like this would have taken many many hours to complete. I would block chunks to get the right proportions/light and then yes, refine them pixel by pixel. I use good old fashioned mouse in WinUAE/Dpaint IV :)

What software and materials do you use to draw ?
I used Deluxe Paint on an Amiga (via emulation using WinUAE) and a mouse :)
