In so many music cases they will always be unsung unless fan's like us help the families and the music industries that owns their music should fight 4 to get him in any music Hall of Fame just like Sam Cook and Elvis let the younger generation know about him too 🎵🎵🎵

First off, thanks for the segment on Jesse Belvin. The saddest fact is he's been dead since 1960, and folks that knew him are dead and dying now. Memories dim. His wife, Joanne, was a songwriter too. They was killed in Hope, Arkansas, where Bill Clinton from

It was sang by a group , The Penguins on dootone records(Cleve Duncan sang lead), it was written by Jesse Belvin and possibly Ganel Hodge ..........a lot of kids that were in doowop groups were friends with Jesse and still went to his parents house to use their piano even though Jesse was in the army , it is said that in the piano bench were many many songs Jesse had written "earth angel" was one of them .....the other groups would sometimes "take" songs out of the bench and try to sing them !!!...Jesse was on very many recordings back in the 50's alot of times just singing back up !!!.............Erik😮

Thank you for making a video about Jesse Belvin! He died a couple of years before I was born, so because of my parents, I grew up listening to him. My parents had the Guess Who? Record and the only thing I remember them telling me is that he had a short career because he died in an automobile accident. Oh and also about Jonny Ace and his tragic accident, that's about all I knew about those guys, except for the beautiful music they left behind. I'm going on 60 now, just around the corner! But I enjoy when you make videos about groups and singers from the 50's to the 80's. I'm not too interested in some of the rap people who you talk about, but it's still a shame when someone's life is cut short, whether it's from an accident, illness, or even murder. However, you have my attention when you talk about the old school musicians, and enlighten me about their career and their untimely demise. Keep up the good work!👍

I just found about him after seeing The Whispers on Tank"s podcast. One of the twins said Jesse Belvin was on his top five singers all time list And after he suggested Tank listen to "Goodnight My Love" I had to check out his music for myself. He truly had an awesome voice, and some great songs. I listen to "Goodnight My Love" a couple times a week.
