Worst Glue Joint is the One Repaired

This was previously repaired and the alignment and fit up were really bad. Someone else tried to glue it and used yellow glue or epoxy.
This is my 2nd video on breaking apart a PVA (carpenter's glue) joint. If the joint has been done with an exterior rated glue it's a tough go.
However, whether it's hot glue or epoxy, there is a way. This time vinegar and steam were called for.

I have always believed it is harmful to add any metal to a wooden joint, screw, nail or fastener. Great job getting that mess apart.
