Seeing them live is a whole new experience, they are mind-blowing throughout. They previewed this full concert last week for free! You can't help loving them, not just the music but for the respect they have for us fans. They are in my opinion the most talented band out there, so good it's crazy 🤘🥁🎤🎸🎹🐺🇬🇧
Great reaction to my current fav Lovebites song ! This is a 17-song (excluding the intro/outro, piano solo, and drum solo), near 2-hour show from their latest LIVE album "Memorial for the Warrior Souls". SSS was the 14th and last track on the main set before 3 encores. Enjoy the show in LA !!

Thanks for the reaction to this great heavy metal band. I don't mean to disappoint you, but so far, their complete setup is only used in Japan, it is understandable because they have no big budget for overseas live shows so they have to travel with few staff and few instruments... You can see their compact setup in their last tour on UK & Europe on last June and July live shows recording by fans. Maybe a few years later, they will have more recognition overseas and will get more budget to travel, we "wolfpack" hope for their success soon and that they could finally have an appropiate setup overseas like in Japan.
Lovebites broadcast the full performance of this show on their RUclips channel a couple of days ago as a premier for the bluray; this song is at about the 90 minute mark, and it's the last song before the encore. The full performance is about an hour and 50 minutes.
you won't see them on a stage like this but much smaller and with reduced instrumentation as I saw them in Milan but believe me seeing and hearing them from 2 meters was an unforgettable experience!
I can't wait to finally see then live . I'll be flying out to Los Angeles show and seeing them at the Prog Power fest. This live video kicked major ass.
For a photo you need the VIP package, if there are any left. This stage was used only on the last leg of the Judgement Day tour, Osaka, Tokyo and Yokohama, because they were bigger than the previous venues in the first leg. It’s financially impossible for a band like LOVEBITES to have a stage like that transported to the US for three shows in what are, compared to the venue in the video, smaller auditoria. They are sure to play SSS and will most likely be playing the set that toured Europe and South Korea, which is approximately 75 minutes, and 90 for the US especially Atlanta. Miyako said some time ago that Tokyo Garden Theater on September 1st will be the only full set of the tour, and rightly so because it is the only Japanese show this year (apart from a special event at Tower Records Shibuya on 20th to launch the EP). I guarantee you will have a blast at this gig and I’d love it if you could post a review on this channel. I saw your very first reaction to the ladies and have watched every one since. We corresponded briefly on X and I watched you fall in love with the band (ok, Midori, but the rest too!)
Another masterpiece composed by genius Miyako. A true shredding monster song. Love them so much. M & M guitar duo is the best ever. Haruna is spectacular, Asami too. Fami has some serious bass skills. This band has no weak points. Gotta love them..
Their craziest song by Miyako's Golden Touch. Pushing Harupi and Asami to their limits but they nail it easily, salute. M&M more faster shredding. Fami clear running bass. She's more active on stage now, love her. Masterpiece, phenomenal. Thanks for the great reaction friend👍🤘
New subscriber here and big LOVEBITES fan! 3 weeks until they take a big chomp out of Atlanta for their first ever show in the USA!!! I can hardly wait! Unfortunately, to get a full production experience from either LOVEBITES or Babymetal, I believe we would need to see a concert in Japan. Babymetal is finally headlining a long US fall tour, but still playing small venues. But then again, I like the sound of going to Japan for these bands even more!
The definitive metal song ! It was the last song before the encores (Hammer Of Wrath, We The United and Under The Red Sky). Echoplex is a small venue on a small stage like in Europe. Unfortunately I don't think we can see in Europe or US Lovebites shows like in Japan for logistical and financial reasons unless Lovebites gains a lot of fans
This was the last song before the Encore. So there was a short pause. That pause is well deserved, because they had "Edge Of The World" and "Soldier Stands Solitarily", easily two of their best songs, both intensive, directly after another. And yes, many fans said after the release of "Judgement Day", that the closing song SSS was their new favorite. It may also be their fastest. It's just relentlessly exploring the limits of speed (drums) and heights (vocals), and as you've correctly mentioned, it showcases all 5 of them individually (I think, only "Eagle Fly Free", which was a cover, comes close).
I'll be at Echoplex, it only holds about 550 general admission fans. You should be able to get a great view from almost anywhere. Maybe I'll see you there!
I love these women! I have never seen them live before, but will in Dallas and hopefully LA. While they have toured Europe and Japan multiple times, this is their first venture into the US. (Sorry about our current strife). Regardless, my production expectations are low from a new tour, and new audience perspective. There is a cost versus revenue calculation and on a first tour I don’t expect much, aside from stellar musicianship. Please don’t misunderstand me! I love this band and I’m all into their music and talent. I don’t care if they perform at a small venue, or an arena. I’m here for the artists. ❤️🐺
Asami reaching those high notes on SSS. My favorite song on JD album. It receives my rare 10/10. Now this one has a great audio mix. At 185 BPM you need to be wearing a seat belt watching this.
LOVEBITES has added a new masterpiece. Dynamic Voice's ASAMI has a wonderful belt. MIDORI & MIYAKO is speedy and the guitar technique is also top level. And the accurate and wonderful rhythm team of HARUNA of Fami & Drums, the bass guitar that supports them. I repeat this song many times🤘😎
I can’t imagine they will have this level of stagecraft here. It would be super expensive to take all that on the road in US. I just hope the atage is big enough for them to move on. Some of the European shows were on such small stages that Midori and Fami couldn’t do heavy metal pose without stepping on each other! - I’ll try and say “hi” if I see you at Echoplex.
LOVEBITES new EP and also a live LP (DVD/Blu-ray/CD) both will be released on August 28. „LOVEBITES EP II“ will contain „Unchained“ and four more new songs and in addition a re-recording of the band’s debut „THE LOVEBITES EP“ for a limited edition. Next single and MV „Soul defender“ will be released soon. „Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the live recording of last year‘s Tokyo concert during the Judgement Day tour. It features 7 songs from the „Judgement Day“. 3 official live video released so far on RUclips: „Soldier stands solitarily“, „Rising“ and „We are the resurrection“.
I'm afraid the US tour will not have the bells and whistles of the Japanese gigs. They are travelling light. They won't bring even a drum kit. They are going to bring guitars, and some small pedalboards unfortunately. Same thing happened with their European gigs
^ I’m 99.99% sure that this will be the case for ALL of their US shows. I wonder about ProgPower though - as they have a 1.5hr time slot. I wonder (aka:hope) that the headliner that night does use keyboards in some fashion, and would possibly let Miyako use them for their set, or if there is a house piano that she could use. Also, *I* thought that they did bring Haruna’s smaller drum kit, but on most of those indoor European stages, there was no room for the second bass drum, as it was always seen off to the side, and in one case IIRC, was on a shelf behind her. (Then again, I don’t recall seeing the double bass setup at any of the festival shows, so I’m probably wrong.)
Finally sound good... thanks from Indonesia, thank for reaction by the way, today is 17 August, Indonesia's independence day, the song is right for today's moment
This is most likely in the live show. They like to play this live. I also suspect it is rather small venue, so you should expect that, instead of big set like in Japan.
I think its been great that since you mentioned you would like a better voice range for Asami, that the reactions since then, she has met that challenged and then some!!! Great reaction and hopefully the U.S. tour is a great success to where they come back and hit more venues throughout the country.
One piece of advice, if you are going to see them live, I wouldn't watch any more videos until then, by the way, I saw them in Belgium in the Zik Zak room and it was an unforgettable experience. I hope it will be yours too. I look forward to your reflection after seeing them live.
I'll see you there! I'm 58, 80s metalhead, and got the VIP package-meet/greet. I'm afraid I'm going to lose all my dignity that night.😢🤣 It's just under an 800 capacity venue, and it won't be a stage set up like their Japanese shows.
I thought this was a new released song but come to find out is was out a year ago. This might be the first live of the song but sounds the same as the original.
Lovebites are, by their choice, playing very small venues in the states. Its not one tenth the production of anything that your used to seeing on videos from Japan. That would not matter to me, because they are my favorite band! Its on my bucket list. This band is the Greatest Metal Band on the Planet! Cheers to you!
Seeing them in Dallas in 2 weeks, luckily I got the VIP so I actually get to meet them. But I wouldn't expect the full show in the size of venues they are playing, they will be amazing either way, but those shows are so expensive to put on that bringing them to states is kind of a no go for the concert sizes here b Babymetal is the only Japanese to put on a full size show like that in the US and they've only done it once in all their US tours, the finale of the Metal Galaxy tour in LA at the Staples Center
You definitely will not get anywhere near the full set-up. Their European tour was a very stripped down set. It's just a cost thing. I'm sure the sound and performance will still be incredible.
Even Haruna complained to Miyako, the writer, that this one was fast 😂😂. Sorry to burst your balloon but I doubt that you will get the full stage accompaniments. Too expensive to ship all the way from Japan. At the recent UK gigs Miyako only had the one guitar and Haruna only had one star. But the show still sounded great. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Is it just me, or did it look like Fami almost lost her balance on her pedestal @ 5:57? I've seen this show, at the very end the ladies all sign one of Haruna's drumheads and once they do Haruna throws it out to the crowd.
You are not going to see the complete experience as you think, keep in mind that they travel from Japan and the costs of everything are very exaggerated, now I do think you are going to be amazed by the live sho
Hi. In the absence of Band-Maid I decided to expand my musical experience and took myself down to the Garage in London recently to see this band- and it was great and they have a great stage presence. I really love twin lead guitar metal. Liar was another great song. I have The Warning in 2025.
I don't think that their management will put up the money for touring abroad, recently here in the UK they played in a pub in front of 300 people, it's a real shame.
This is the fastest and the highest tone song of Lovebites. M&M did such perfect sweep picking in that velocity. Amaaaazing!!
Men made metal, LOVEBITES perfected it. 🤘
I saw them in Lindau/Germany and - a bit unexpected - was impressed by Haruna the most! She is the best drummer I‘ve ever seen!!!! She is insane!!!
Akane and Tamu aren't bad either.
@@Brain4Zombie Absolutly! They are on my bucket-list, but I didn‘t see them yet! Since COVID Nemophila and Band Maid never were in Europe again,😢
LOVEBITES - Soldier Stands Solitarily lyrics:
If tomorrow never comes
Was it ever even here? Nobody knows
Trying to find key to the door
It's me and no one else
All in my hand
Things aren't as easy as "right" and "wrong'
You only need one thing to be proud of
Solitary soldier
Fighting till the end
I'm not satisfied
Solitary fire
Even with the scars
I'm not satisfied
If I can take it all back
Daydreaming won't change a thing, so worthless
Life is always back and forth of hurting and getting hurt
Can't change this
I have been searching for something long
Not enough time to care what others think
Solitary soldier
Fighting till the end
I'm not satisfied
Solitary fire
Even with the scars
I'm not satisfied
SOLOS: miyako / midori / both
Things aren't as easy as "right" and "wrong'
You only need one thing to be proud of
Solitary soldier
Fighting till the end
I'm not satisfied
Solitary fire
Even with the scars
I'm not satisfied
Solitary soldier
Fighting till the end
I'm not satisfied
Solitary fire
Even with the scars
I'm not satisfied
