I just replaced my hub , caliper and rotor , but now the tire is toed in at the top about 3/4"" of an inch compared to the opposite tire .any suggestions ? There is no play in the control arm ,
You my friend are the best..... I learned to replace the parking brake shoes by learning to replace the rear wheel hub. No one else has this video. Thank you.
Great video thank you. I am going to see if I can get this done today!! My wife and I are both self employed, she cleans a couple houses, and takes care of her parents. I own a construction company and have to get this done today! Thanks for saving me time and money.
Thanks for your videos bro, I'm doing a rear wheel hub bearing today along with brake caliper, brake rotors, brake pads, brake line & parking shoe, & parking shoe hardware (springs and all). You save so much doing stuff on your own All that money saved goes to a lifetime of tools to have the ability to do the job again for any other car as well 👍🏽 Wish you had talked about about torque specs for all everything removed but video is awesome thanks!
I didn't have to remove the strut and the shock on my 2003 in order to remove the four bolts for the hub assembly but my hub assembly is rusted to the knuckle so I can't get it off. I guess I'm going to have to torch it.
I knew that I wasn't just speedy Gonzales because I've done a rear bearing before in 25 minutes so it's nice to actually have video proof of someone else removing one in less than 15 minutes because the mechanic shop I just went to because I'm injured and can't turn a wrench right now just billed me hours for a single rear wheel bearing on my 2007 Chrysler. I know shops have to make money I also started to be an ASE certified Master mechanic I just chose a different profession and went into construction; but if it only takes you an hour or less to do something you don't bill somebody more than that. It's immoral, unethical, and in most places illegal. This made me not trust them and I made them give me back all of my old parts which I'm going to have analyzed to see if they actually needed replacing because that wheel bearing has never given me an issue and I never heard any noise they only told me about the wheel bearing after I let them know that I've already pre-inspected the car and won't be needing some other things that I initially called about. since they knew they were losing money on my brake job because I already checked my brakes and knew that they wouldn't need replacing and would have held them accountable if they told me they did, knowing they were losing money on the tires because I had picture evidence of my calipers within all of the treads of the tire and all of them meeting spec. now all the sudden my wheel bearing is out 🤔🤔. Yet the day prior this wasn't mentioned when it came in for inspection. They said nothing about anything except for my brakes and turn signal switch at that initial inspection once I told them I want it all of my parts back all the sudden things changed up. This is why I always do my own vehicle repairs having gone to school for it and obtaining certs. I just couldn't this time because my hands are injured and I can't turn a wrench. But I will be having that wheel bearing checked out soon.
You got that right and why would they put the bolt on the inside and the nut on the outside? After I did my first one of these, I put the bolt in from the outside and the nut on the inside. I will never have to remove the shock again. Now if I could just teach my son to stop running the brakes until he eats the rotors.

No help
Not to be THAT guy but when you’re talking out bolts, you should really use a brass hammer or brass punch
🤔 "not to be that guy"- while actually being that guy 🤔. It's like the people that say "no offense" while offending someone 🤔
