Picked up a Pint X ~2 months ago in the 10yr anniversary sale. My first ever OneWheel, absolutely love it! So happy it is getting all the new firmware updates too so it's not obsolete, great customer service!
Pint X owner here and beyond excited for the firmware. For the past month I've already been telling myself "ugh i wish this would go just a little bit faster", and now it will! Definitely getting the flared footpads and new treaded tire to maximize my ride!
I'm not sure we'll upgrade that specific point. We're getting new firmware and probably some improved stability, new tuning options with app, but I don't think we'll be getting few extra mph, otherwise what would be the point with Pint S!
I love the original pint. I bought it when it was first released. I learned and got started on it and now I’m going for the flagship Rally Edition. That said, the Pint-S looks great too.
My first experience was on a pint then I bought the pint x then my son got hooked and I gave it to him and got the GT. It’s definitely a awesome thing to do together while we wait for the snow haha

See a lot of people in my hometown riding these things. I think they’re pretty cool! A lot cooler than the dumb hoverboards that were popular a while back
Still can't wait till I can get one. Trying to figure out how. Even added one being used in one of my screenplays that I am writing and trying to get funded.
I wish I could use one for month or even a week so I could see if I can balance on it and feel comfortable using it everyday in NYC before just dropping money on something I may not be able to use

riding it is easier than it looks. the board balances for you, you just have to not tip it over heel or toe side which is easy. you'll get speed wobbles when you go faster for a while and then itll go away and boom youre a pro (but wear helmet)
I just got my pint s in the mail, it says it has custom shaping and the new 5200 firmware, but is still showing digital shaping 2.0 instead of 3.0 will this change when the update drops for pint x? Also still shows a top speed of 18 mph
I have a gt because I wanted to go farther and faster but I’m a beginner and I’m teaching myself if the pint s was out sooner I would’ve gotten it instead
Awesome, but on the for real. The headlight has sucked since the pint days. With the minimal update costs. Pint S is great but please please please update the light bar.

Everything I’m seeing and reading says the max speed is still 18 mph for the pint s. Are they shipping with the 20 mph top speed or will this come when they release the firmware for pint x? Even after updating the app people still say it tops at 18 mph
I just ordered my second pint x. Third about to be ordered. Kid. Me. Wife. I used to use scooters in my Tesla. But this is 100% better more portable. Takes up less space and coming from someone that has never really skateboarding only a little bit of snowboarding and busted my butt doing that these are perfect for anybody.
Just got my new Pint S!!! Rides like a dream and I love the new tire and footpads. HOWEVER, it seems like the top speed is still just 18 mph like the X. I get pushback at 16/17 mph and buzz at 18. It even say the max is 18 in the ride modes. What’s going on!?
I watched the Float Life video about it and it seems like the OW app needs to be updated/reinstalled to get the new pint S options. But that doesn't affect the pint S firmware and they also said it seems like the top speed is not there yet
@@MACEr304 my app was reinstalled as well as updated and it shows me having custom shaping and proper firmware, but not the proper digital shaping, it shows the s options, but then when you click on the info, it shows digital shaping 2.0 with an 18mph top speed
@@MACEr304 Yeah, I re-installed the app (which is a little annoying because I loose my data and have to reconnect my other boards) and it does say pint X/S and “s” on the ride modes now, but still says limit to 18 mph in the ride mode info.
@@kevinepperly3191 That's super strange. Just to clarify you guys have the digital shaping modes for the pint S but not full custom shaping? Hopefully they'll fix it soon or with the pint x update (I have the x)
Yall should make a Onewheel that is a pint (original pint) make it do everything the pint does but find a way to add the firware update to the pint you got two ENTIRE extra miles an hour out of the pint x can you do that for a pint? (and make the pint slightly cheaper)
if your pint has old enough hardware you can use software called rewheel and make it go just as fast as the pint s if you know what youre doing. if you do, wear a helmet cause you are pushing it past recommended limits but my pint goes as fast as the pint s with it
Pint s will only do 20Mph if you plan on nosediving. Maybe if you're going downhill? Mine gave out at 20.6mph, which is too close for comfort. Ill just chill at 18mph.
Grabbed an xr for like 1k. That had only 30 miles on it. With 1 extra front pad and 2 back pads. Also 2 fenders. My plan is to upgrade the battery and stuff but. I do realize im not has handing as i think. So id want to ride it for about a year and maybe look to trade it for a gt or gts from someone.

Pint x/s will be the same thing. Same speed and firmware. The only difference will be the add ons

There are websites which you can use to rent a board. Done it before and it was great!

Just buy the footpads (soft version maybe!)--tire if you want--and you're essentially same thing as pint S

Make sure you update your phone’s Onewheel app as well to show the latest features. If you haven’t already that may be the problem.
Can you use the original pint footpads on the pint s? I have custom Bruce Lee grip tape and want to still use it

Can the Bluetooth/WiFi of the Onewheel be disabled?

The XR is the best beginner wheel. The footpads and Vega tire are wider and more stable. RIP
