Did you use the app for voice chat at all? I played a couple online and it was fun just would be a lot more fun if there was voice chat and I just assumed nobody uses it on the app since it’s such a hassle
Picked this game up as a family game and its great! The mini game selection is near perfect and online multiplayer runs very smooth. I hope Nintendo continues to support the game with updates and DLC.
I hope there is gonna be more Minigame modes, because they always get interesting. That’s one thing I would want from the DLC, and then of course the addition of extra minigames, unlockables and there are many great boards to add in
I'm willing to pay for DLC boards, but I'm not going to buy the game unless some get announced. Five boards just isn't enough, especially since I grew up with MP 4-7 and there is no Gamecube board representation in this game at all. # FaireSquareSquad

The only complaint I have is that the game needs like at least 1 or 2 more boards. That and having the ability to block out certain mini-games. Actually, a campaign could have been real nice like the older mario parties where you could unlock certain boards and mini-games by doing certain things. Other than that, this is the best mario party we've had in awhile.
It is so good. They can even add DLC to give more mini-games, or boards! Or, in my wildest dreams, to be able to choose between item/capsule systems. Like just give me MP6/7's capsule system back, or classic MP3 items back.
This game is everything I've ever hoped for with a new Mario Party game, 9/10. I would give it 10/10 if they let you select handheld Mario party games as your favorite (Mario Party Advance, Mario Party DS, Mario Party Star Rush, Mario Party Top 100). I grew up playing Mario Party DS and it's still my favorite game. I think Mario party Superstars is a fantastic addition to the series!
I agree with you! I never got to play Mario Party in handheld mode but I have seen videos of other people playing it and it looks a lot of fun. I also wish they had more boards for you to choose from as well as more games because there are a lot in the series and that's including the ones in handheld systems.

It seems Nintendo finally learned how important an online mode is for the Mario Party series. You can actually play every single game mode online! There are only a few game modes that can only be played with friends and not with strangers.
I played this game with my once it came in the mail! We've had lots of fun and it also brought back memories of me playing the series on the N64 & GC. I like the way they redid the graphics of the games & characters and not only that, how you can play with your friends online as well. I also like how the character you use when you use your Mii character to where if you play on someone else's file it can take yours over to your own file of what you've won so you can buy things without starting all over again from the beginning. They should have done this in the very beginning instead of brining out the Super Mario Party game. I still like it but the new party game is more fun & better. Just the way Mario Party was when it first started!
You can play boards with random people online! You just have to select online mode, and then go down the green pipe (not the friends house). We got everything!! 😍
The online is so good! The stickers is so much fun and easy way to comunicate with others! The lucky spaces are awesome, the bad luck stuff is also awesome, and just everything is so good! I am loving this game and if it had dlc in some future date, i will definitely get it! (Imagine MP DS game pack, characters, and just more awesomeness)
Anybody remember Dust Buddies from Mario Party DS. That was a minigame i wish would return. We would literally boot up the DS Wireless Connect just to play that vaccum mimigame over and over.
I’ve only played one round of this game so far and it was against cpus, but man I love it, they finally got Mario Party right again, can’t wait to dig in more.
I'm a little sad they threw out the motion controlls minigames. I think minigames are the perfect thing for wacky motion controlls. But it's alright. The games that I've played so far are great! :)
I loved this version of Mario party my only thing that keeps it perfect is I wish it had more characters to choose from like boo, goomba, Bowser and Bowser Jr, or koopa troopa, and toad would have been nice to have in it. Hopefully maybe dlc later on but I hate dlc I rather have it all physical.

For those that are unaware you CAN play with a friend plus 2 randoms. Or 3 friends and one random. Ive been doing it since it came out. Make sure you all go through the online party pipe. Not the FRIENDS house. All of you pick the same map, same turn amount. One of you starts the search and then the others follow suit 5 seconds after. Be aware that the characters you all pick might be different in everyones screen. Meaning people might not see you as the character you picked. My friends and I make it a rule to not team up on the random and treat everyone with equal disdain 🤣.
MPS has really impressed me. It’s what fans have been asking for for years and the only changes I’d want are some different minigame choices or some more customization options

Just sayin that if the bottom player goes from there to being the winner is just a classic Mario Party moment which I hope Nintendo doesn't fix. A lot of times some player just have horrible RNG moments making them lose so the game makes up for that. That and the feeling of being so down to suddenly winning is awesome lol

So when I got allstars for Christmas, I was a bit disappointed 😅 I said “thank you” of course, but I was actually dying inside. Not the biggest fan of Mario games. Yeah I only had one instance with survival mode where someone definitely disconnected their internet in order to win xD other than that it’s solid.

Boo steals stars. Goomba is a sub host. Bowser junior hosts item minigames. Bowser is the main villain as always

Really? The only options I had was to create a room or join a room, but both needed a room ID. There's no way to search for rooms, that I know of?

So glad to hear this game isn’t lame. I always got confused with this one and Super Mario Party, cause I heard it was so bad. So when I got allstars for Christmas, I was a bit disappointed 😅 I said “thank you” of course, but I was actually dying inside. Not the biggest fan of Mario games. But I got a switch now, and an open mind… so I’m ready to jump into Nintendo land and play with my gf and friends!
