For deep jigging you shall never even think of using a spinning reel even if it's the Saltiga 20k.
Spinning reel design (despite of their respective class --high or low)exerts a lot of time and pressure on our backbones that in some extreme cases even the discs are damaged during the fight and as a result they face serious consequences.
For deep jigging it's best when you use a 2 speed high class reel, with the matching weight.always look for the lightest possible.... even 50 grams will make a huge difference.Remember you are not using electric reels on a chair and believe me it's disgusting to fish with such laziness.
Remember ! Only clever, energetic and swift people can enjoy the sweetness of deep jigging.It's not for the weak, clumsy and lazy.. sorry 😔.

What you wrote seems wise thinking.. I did fish with balloons f🎈 far away at some 200meters and release and did catch snaper and Jack's of 5 kilo.. I did use a two speed shimano trolling reel bud I did bring then using speed one alone and it did take me between 3 to 4 minut none-stop and at the end I won't more.. the dead bait will sink in some 90 meters water.. what about that ?
