Great video thanks for showing the different setups. Really like the 3d clips for a lid Would you be willing to share the 3d printed file so I could make myself a set
Thanks for the informative video sir. That was cool the way you 3D printed the parts👍 . I wanted to ask , it appears that when you had it in the sock mode , they would sit under water . Shouldn’t the top of the sock rim sit above the water level ? Wouldn’t that let dirty water or particles rather , roll over and out the top. Sitting below the water level .? and it sure is noisy ..!
I just finished the plumbing on my new 150gal with 40gal Eshopps R-300 sump, boy did I make a mess with the glue but zero leaks :) mines pretty noisy too but I got this plastic spiral that your supposed to put inside the drain lines to make the water spiral down the sides of the drains to reduce the water just falling and splashing , haven't put them in yet maybe get to that today and see if it helps quiet it down abit. Great vid though
wow people always said bashsea is the best sump ever... but that sound is just not acceptable. That sucks. Curious tho.. when will be the next update? also let me know how much you spent on the system from CDA with installation. I'm planning my upgrade now. Would be a huge help.
@@fijireefer3944 could you make ones of different sizes? I think I might go with a synergy sump due to the larger return area and I'm going to be running 2 return pumps, which doesn't seem feasible with the bashsea sumps. No idea why they make such massive sumps with such tiny return chambers
I intend to buy the Bashsea Smart 36-18-16 sump an put in my basement for a DT upstairs. Are you happy with the sump still? What made you put the refugium in the first compartment? Getting rid of filter socks?
