Dude, I'm fully bought in with Shogun. Incredible TV.
I watched 3 episodes and gave up. Boring, implausible plot lines, and that (bad) actress playing Savannah is cringe af.

The Missing (2014) was ridonculously good. Is Shogun a drama? Constellation...?
We're also watching Storm of the Century, which we've never seen, and is a great Stephen King mini-series.

why would someone dump stuff in the middle of the night via boat. the dude could have just dump the trophies in the trash! he looked suspicious like hell
MAJOR SPOILERS: Only read this if you don't mind knowing a bit of what this series is about before watching it. When you see on a series on Peacock, it shows a trailer automatically, if it is on the show. The trailer for this 7 episode series is very misleading! It leads you to believe that this woman's family are terrible people. They aren't! It leads you to think that the mother doesn't know awful things about her children, that is not true either! It leads you to believe that the story is sinister, it is not! The mother simply leaves for several days, maybe 10-12. She just wants to get away from her family because she doesn't think they appreciate her. Yes, there is much more to the story and it does keep you watching, because you do want to find out what happened to her. So, I would say it is a good show. But, I was prepared for the ending to be much bigger than it was. 😮
they are all terrible people and the acting is sooo bad it was embarrassing lol
Well in the book reviews people are saying the book seemed like a first draft and wasn't very good ... I have no desire to waste my time trying to read the book or watching this show

i thought the dad was supposed to be from NZ? i hated the lesbian daughters hair. hideous. Annette was fantastic . the son troy was my favorite. logan I didn’t like because I kept thinking when was the last time he washed his hair I also didn’t like the hippie dippy daughter. show was good though. easy binge

one of the worst series i've ever seen but its hilarious if you drink during it
I could relate to the mom. It's why I kept watching. There was a line she said at the end of the 1st episode, something about, only your children can break your heart in a certain way.
The thing that kept taking me out of the story was the way none of the children looked like their parents or each other.
The show was pretty good but the trailer was so misleading 😭, they made it seem like Joy was some evil villain
A drawn out 7 part series and the mystery is nothing but a rotten core.
