I had a pair of shoes like the ones you showed with chain across the front The heel was alot lower and I was 15 yrs old and now I'm 68 so it seems some styles stick around a long time

Jordan, have you watched Mia Maples?? She thrifted a lot for her wedding(glassware and decor) and made one of 2 gowns she wore plus the bridesmaids dresses and the shirts the groomsmen wore.
I have watched her channel before and I didn't know she was planning a wedding! That is wonderful that she was able to find all of that at the thrift store! I have been on the hunt for outfits for the wedding party with no luck yet, but crossing my fingers!

Hey sweetie I'm new to your channel❤ when you wash sparkle or pictures on t shirt, turn the garments inside out to wash..also, use delicate load and cold water.dont forget to hang it to dry or lay it flat if it's too heavy.❤❤❤❤❤

Angel and I married in December. We gave away clear glass ornaments with our names and wedding date on them. For the reception, I wore a long maroon-red dress that had snowflakes down one side and a panel that would open when I walked and it was white. I'm excited to see what you pick out.

My daughter used clear glass (could be different plain bowls, thrifted - hers were $10.00 ones from target) Bowls filled with red, silver, gold and white small heart ornaments - December wedding.

It too is MY birthday MONTH. (I'm also the end of this month). I get pretty much whatever I want with in reason this month as its my birthday at the end and my wedding anniversary just happened! hahaha. I married into a Italian family 42 years ago and all the things were done by my soon to be mom in law. It was a beautiful and very fun wedding. The wedding favours were cute, espresso cups. But now it seems weddings are passe. My son and his partner are expecting their second baby and no wedding in site. It saves me money so I can give them more to help with day to day living. lol. Now as I am older and thinking of what can stay in the house and what needs to go there was so much stuff I collected long ago that is no longer needed. Silverware, china, collectibles, I had a precious moments on my wedding cake. Minimal is better
The cost of a wedding has gone up so much over the years and the purpose of them has shifted a bit. People are getting married later and there is a lot more weddings that don't have the religious context so I can see how a lot of couples are choosing the route of not having one at all! I love seeing couples feeling empowered to do what is best for them and their reputation of love instead of what they feel like they "have to do" to be together.
The traditional rules are that the brides family pays for the wedding. The grooms family does the rehearsal dinner and some specific things.

I have no idea why Americans have so many parties, associated around Weddings. Endless fuss and clothes shopping. Surely it just makes things more stressful and expensive? Especially for the unwitting guest, in this cost of living climate?.It must cost hundreds of dollars, just to turn up to watch a couple get married.... personally I'd reject every invitation, and use the money I'd spend on something else
I thought of this too, but other cultures have a lot of events too they are just condensed into the week of. I’ve been to a couple Indian weddings and American weddings are nothing compared to those! At first I didn’t want to have all the parties, but I realized the people around me wanted to have them to celebrate us more that I wanted to host them so that was special.
