- Alexandr'ea Nelson reports on how a black mailwoman had a medical emergency while on duty and got suspended for it. She was seen to have followed the proper protocol and still was reprimanded for it.
If you don't take care of your employees you won't have any. 😑
A cop can delete someone for doing nothing and get suspended with pay for a month. Paid vacation. But how dare you have an emergency!
This was the post office management fault, why is she being punished? The post office management should be blamed for this. The post office union should defend her.

When you pass away, they are more concerned with finding with your replacement than anything else to make sure the work gets done. We are a cog in a machine and nothing more.

As a mail carrier myself, that station supervisors is clearly at fault. And her union steward(s) did not defend her like they should have. The supervisors weren't doing their job at all. If she did return, I would have transferred stations. Theres no way I would work under those supervisors.
Job security and company loyalty doesn't exist. I learned that at my last three jobs.

She notified her supervisor that she had a medical emergency. That is management's fault for not responding to her emergency. They don't give a damn about her or anyone else. I remember being a Shift Leader for a ff place and I was having severe chest pains. My coworkers called the ambulance, my DM, and my brother. The DM had the nerve to tell TeeTee to tell me to wait until they can get a manager there. TeeTee went in on him and told him the ambulance already got her. I was in the hospital for 3 days. I had an Angina attack. When I was cleared to go back to work, I demoted myself down to kitchen leader, then I eventually quit. They crazy as heck if I was gonna wait.
😢 I working for the post 📫 office. They have plenty of sorry supervisors 🚫👎🤦♂️. I definitely understand what she is going through

I worked at a hospital, where you needed a dr. excuse to call off sick, my doctor (who worked for the same hospital) said I was alright... after my shift, I stopped in the emergency room & was admitted for a week (at the hospital where I worked). None of my coworkers or bosses stopped in to see me 🙄& my supervisor called upstairs to my room, to ask 👉🏾 when will I be returning to work 😒

This sad. Many of us need jobs as we're not all able to start our own business or have a desire to start a business.
this is why you are always as an individual have to watch out for yourself over any business because you as an individual have to take the priority about yourself because as soon as they can let you go and get rid of you with ease, they will do it

I got attacked by this .98 (cents) lady at my job, para transit driver, bcuz I wouldn't wait for her to go back into the hospital to get her meds. All she had to do was reorder another bus driver. She Didn't hurt me, but I was in shock that she thought it was okay to pull that stunt. A week after writing a report, no police called, I was suspended with pay. I kept my job, but transferred to another city. That's when I started to learn to depend on myself. I encourage y'all to do for self if you haven't already. You'll be more mentally stable
Treating people like that? That's why there's a shortage of carriers and the mail is sometimes MIA.

She will have to consult an employment attorney who represents federal employees and they are unaffordable; thus, USPS gets away with these things.

This is a a management failure. I currently work for usps. I can tell you from experience this would not happen at the my office. Anyone looking for a job, PSE and clerks is ware it’s at. She will get back pay. The union will fight for her.
I worked as a temporary mail handler, and that's not an easy job. I can't do that anymore. she needed to make a federal complaint against them. I They need to be written up. Anybody can get sick. She's a human.

So we're back at this again. Last time you had people passing out during their routes in the summer hours. Someone should've been out there quickly to secure the truck so she could get treatment. I would've understood if I was running the situation. I'm not that cruel. These people aren't even following their own protocol.
