    I tried to make it in NW Wyoming with my family for 6 months. Had a good job too. Housing is alot harder to come by. When you do find it expect to pay $200K minimum up to way past $1 million for anything decent/good (think small 1-2 bedroom houses on the lower end) Beautiful place but housing prices and cost of living are skyrocketing. 1 big reason: Californians move in with $$$ and lay it down on the available housing. Eventually it's out of reach for the average person. Sadly, I had to move to more affordable pastures.

    Putting South Park as #1 essentially eliminates most people as it is subject to the wildly elevated real estate prices similar to neighboring Jackson. Jackson and the surrounding areas have a lot to offer, but comparing it to Rock Springs and Kemmerer is silly. What about Pinedale? Laramie?

  • @weeb9332
    @weeb9332 2 года назад +8

    Casper, Lander, Dubois, Sheridan, Pinedale and Green River a better list. Cody is pretty but too touristy. Casper and Cheyenne vie for the largest population and have all around basic services and activities. Scenery in Pinedale and Dubois is amazing. Lander is homey with beautiful scenery. Green River is 12 miles from Rock Springs and more family friendly.

    Haha, I'm not sure who put this video on, but let me tell you the real facts about Wyoming. Let's get started, Temperatures range from 110F in the summer to -40 degrees F in the winter. The wind blows here most of the time, ranging from 20 MPH to 80 MPH, Real estate prices range above the national average, rental ranges with other states, very few 24-hour restaurants, and prices on food seem to average above other states (especially Arizona), Wyoming is a very republican state and seems to ground on the left ideas, don't let this video tell you there are many good paying jobs ( with the Biden ruling, oil and mining (that is the higher paying jobs) jobs are muchly jeopardized). There are lots more reasons, but my suggestions are to look elsewhere.

      You are correct Sir, Wyoming is NOT a good place to live, people let their emotions get a hold of them and move there, 1 year later, their job is gone ! Their land Lord has decided to sell your rental leaving you stranded, this happens all the time, they realize moving there was a huge mistake...Its a fun place to be a Tourist but living there is not so nice, thats why the population is Falling and has been for years, .

    Best places to live in Wyoming? That's a joke, right? Here now. It sucks. It's the people. Bought 30 acres in Montana yesterday. Wyoming is not good for living in just looking at.

    Please learn to pronounce the names if you’re going to do a video.

    Jesus do some research before making a video. Learn how to pronounce names of towns, learn what is a town and what isn't. You basically listed Cheyenne twice in this list (ranchettes is a subdivision of Cheyenne) where did you get your facts?!

    These feel good sunshine nonsense video's are just that, Nonsense. Wyoming is a great place to be a tourist, to visit, to see to have fun, but living there is not all pretty like this video claims, The entire State is in Economic Free Fall, Sky High Unemployment , The few jobs that are there are crummy hourly, " Kids " type jobs. Constant Business failures and closures are very common, The Majority of small business's in the State fail with in the first year. Wyoming is a seasonal State, meaning that besides a tourist season, there is not much more, in the Winter, constant layoffs are common, business's just simply close. Wyoming's Economy is a Train Wreck, The Oil and Gas Industries are collapsing, and there is no other industry in the State except Coal and that is as well falling apart, Housing is Crazy Expensive, Rents can reach well over $ 1000 to $2000 Dollars a month for Crummy 140 year beat up Rentals, Power Bills are crazy! Expect your utility bills to over $ 400 to $600 Per month, These Town pull all kinds of scams, cons, and gimmicks to lure people to the state, dont fall for it ! The Schools are well below even average, Most people the majority, move to Wyoming...and then are usually gone, moved in less than a year.
