There are very few albums where I will enjoy every single song very heavily. Usually one or a few songs I can do without. But this album came through with literally every song being sick af!
I hear The Damned and I also hear Lowlife singer tone as pointed out on 2 separate comments earlier. Early Tony Hadley Spandau debut album deep voice .Hadley vibes on track 2 . Great obscure music, as always thanks for sharing😮
The band released the EP "Angel In a Raincoat" in 1980. "The Awakening" is their work after changing their style. Their song "I Want to Escape" in the 1981 compilation "Bits" already showed this style. Band members are: Drums: Graham Lowe Bass, Vocals: John Lofthouse Rythym Guitar: Barry Morrice Lead Guitar: Carl Robinson
Reminds me, in some moments, The Damned (at their "goth" version)

I could agree with you wholeheartedly if not for Terminal. It's pretty weak, but the rest is gold.
Dude, the chorus to Rank and Number has been looping in my head for 24 hours straight! Rad record!
For real! I just discovered this EP also, and this is the track that I keep coming back to rank and number
I'm a sucker for some post-punk, and this is top notch
