so on that amp there is 2 speaker channels, plus negative and plus negative, so if you have a subwoofer that has one set of cables red and black, how would you connect this speaker cable to the same amp you have? im just puzzled, do I connect it to channel 1 on the amp and ignore channel 2? thnx
hey bro on this amp the settings knobs the lpf, gain , punch eq (have not hooked up my amp yet) lets say i want to turn all of them down did u go by the small dot on the knob or did u just say turn it all the way to the left to turn ot down /all the way to the right to turn it up.
I turned it all the way to the left and I looked to see if the dot lined up, if it doesn't I make my own mark and go by that. You will now know if it is all the way left, it is all the way turned down. This amp has all the power you need. I have blown 2 JL W6 12's and I know blowing speakers doesn't mean anything, but you could hear me 2 blocks away, in your shower.
I have the same exact amplifier but for some reason mine runs super hot and then eventually turns off in protection mode for about 10 minutes after running my system for and 15 minutes straight. I've double checked my wiring and grounds and still the same thing. I'm doing everything recommended but still the same. Have you experienced this amp running super hot?
what gauge and type of cables are you running (OFC or CCA)? Is it tuned properly? Do you have a nice SOLID ground point on the car? Are your gains set properly (with an oscilloscope)?
I have been having this particular amp model since 2006. I love this amp. I can push 4 12's with it with no problems. I had it on 2 JL W6 12's and I would be flexin 7 eleven windows. You will love it. I currently have it hooked up to 2 kicker CVX 12's in a ported box in a Durango and it is banging.
@SK entertainment are you using 0 gauge wire with the 1500bdcp or 4g? Was thinking of going with 0 gauge with a 4 to 1 reducer if the 0 is to big for the amp. But heard people say the reducers don't work well with those amps. But if I can get 0 in there it will be all good.
Go with the 4g you don't need the 0g I feel the 0g gets it hotter faster that just my opinion ,what subs you running I got it on two kicker cvx in a durango and it slams
I just did a amp install in my challenger I have 0g for my amp but wasn't happy with the finish product I'm going a different route and running 4g with the t1500 with a different sub and box
@SK entertainment I haven't purchased my amp yet I'm still deciding which one I wanna go with. It's either gonna be the 1500bdcp or the DD M2000 jus wanted a bigger amp incase in the future I wanna upgrade subs which I'm sure I will cuse we always want more bass lol.
Just bought this amp to run on my JL 13.5. Had a T1000 on it for a long time. Got a new car so figured it was time for a new amp :)
Great amp get the PEQ bass knob for it , i smoked 2 JLw6 12 with one
I have the t1000, t1500 and t600. 4 they are absolutely animals
Yes sir they are
Im never quite at 14.5 volts. Kinda sits a little under like 13.8 I wonder if this will do the job to push 2 8s totaling 1600 watts RMS
Good daySir, where can i get a wiring diagram for t500-1bd.
Just google it my boy, manual should pop up probably need a 4 gauge power and ground ...etc..

Connect to channel one or bridge it ,it doesn't matter you can google the owner manual i believe
Just bought my Prime R2 1200.1 with a certificate of 1492watts at 1ohms😉
