I like what the legit protestors did to the dude with the hammer, They were clearly saying , by their actions, _"He is Not one of us, and that is not how we spread our message"_ When the protestors act in a reasonable fashion, it will bring people together at the table and their message will be heard so much clearer by not having to shout it from the street.

Yeah...was thinking they looked a lot like gabions too. Usually you would use a gabion as a form of retaining wall, but would be cheap and easy to construct barriers from loose stone or brick material too. Only thing is all you need is a decent bolt cutter or even a wire snips depending on the gauge of metal used in the cage, and you would be through the metal cage and all the projectiles you want are there at your fingers.
@@junior5146 concrete barriers are thousands of pounds and need to be moved by VERY heavy equipment, like telehandlers, which are far too heavy and large for LA sidewalks. You also need a big truck and trailer to move them. The regulations for LA sidewalks are insane, I wouldn't be surprised if concrete barriers were illegal while cages of rocks weren't.

Usually you would use a gabion as a form of retaining wall, but would be cheap and easy to construct barriers from loose stone or brick material too. Only thing is all you need is a decent bolt cutter or even a wire snips depending on the gauge of metal used in the cage, and you would be through the metal cage and all the projectiles you want are there at your fingers.

You also need a big truck and trailer to move them. The regulations for LA sidewalks are insane, I wouldn't be surprised if concrete barriers were illegal while cages of rocks weren't.
