I LOVED working with GRIV as a student. It was lightbulb moments after another. When I saw his students shoot, I saw how smooth and effortless archery could be. It actually changed how I do other things in my life.
Wyatt...... you should never leave the work computer signed in! You have no idea how tempting this was....... 😜 Toby
Crazy stuff. I always look for the same “jawbone” anchor. But of course it must move. Makes perfect sense that the peep is only true metric.
Also, any thoughts how this applies to a hinge release?
Anyone around Atlanta I highly recommend taking classes with George. I’ve done two and it was worth every penny. He will help you with anything you want for your hour. I’ve been bowhunting 20 years and wish I would have done this earlier.
I came from recurve, and I always anchor; this is eye-opening.
Gracias
Great tip can't wait to try it 👍👍
And here i am always worrying about my anchor…. Thank you guys!
Pure Gold!
Great!
Coming from a long background in precision rifle shooting with open sights I've always felt that anchoring for compound bows was way overrated.
So your anchor point moves?
Yep. The peep is the anchor.
The only problem I have is that the student demonstrating is not standing upright but leaning back after drawing the arrow,
that's why he's still a student. Everyone has something to work on. I'e been doing it my whole life and am still working on it.
@@georgeryals Same here.
