Great review. Great bike. Love the honest opinions & judgements compared to other bikes and that you are not afraid of upsetting manufacturers with the truth. For this reason and for your knowledge & consistency over a vast range of bikes your channel I feel is the best bike review vlog. 👍🏻👍🏻

It would be a nice drinking game, if I took a shot every time you say "Good job BMW". Lol Great review...Good job Sir! 👍

I actually think the F800GS sounded much better. This bike sounds odd and when you rev it, it even resembles a "budget" bike sound. Didn't like it at all. The rest seems to be somewhat improved, nevertheless i, again, prefer the looks of the older F800 over this for the most part. I also agree with the other comments, you do deserve more views, congratulations on a superb channel!

Hello. Enjoy your reviews. I'm thinking about buying one. Only I am a little worried about the seatheight. I am 178 cm with a 32 inch inseem. Quite simular to you. How did you find the 860mm? Would you go for a lovered version, if it was your own bike?
    Thanks a lot.
    Cheers, Peter

Na, I wouldn't go for the lowered version, the seat height is really not bad at all, I did a day at an off-road park with this and loved it. But if you are not going to do any off-road then consider the 750GS too. Even though it's less power it's still better if your are going to do all on-road.
      Ride safe,
      Scott

@@NothingToProve thanks! Appreciate it. I am probably not gonna do a lot of offroad, if any. The main reason I'm mostly interested in the 850 is that there is a really good offer on those right now where I live (Denmark). It is actually cheaper than the 750 in the trim I want. It is also cheaper than all the competition (Tiger 800/900, Versys 1000, Vstrom 1000, Tracer 900GT, KTM 790 Adv). Do you think that it would work well for a daily 70 km commute, weekend getaways, and fun on the backroads, or would you suggest something else? The 900xr will easily be 10.000 euros more here in Denmark compared to the deal on the 850gs. Which is why I dont consider it (congrats on Yours by the way).
      Thanks, Peter

Come on, the KTM 1090 Adventure R is not really competition for the 850 GS (1050 cc vs 850). While vastly more powerful and yet very competent on and off-road, the KTM 1090 Adv. R is actually cheaper than an optioned GS 850 (like the one shown in your video) and only about 15kg heavier. KTM competition for the GS 850 will be the 790 Adventure.

What are the pros and cons of the 21 inch wheel vs the 19 inch on the f750? Is the. F850 a more comfortable ride?

    • @NothingToProve

No not more comfortable, in fact the bigger the front tire gets the worse is it for the road (17' being the ideal for road) but better for off-road. So the 750 with the 19" is better and more comfortable for the road.
